Welcome to Hamilton Cove Villa 2-28

This two-level villa was decorated with your comfort and enjoyment in mind. You can relax and enjoy the incredible ocean views from all rooms on both levels. It’s perfect for two couples or a small family. You will find the living/dining areas on the entry level, with a gathering table for indoor dining or game night, a 42-inch flat panel TV and Blu-Ray DVD player (if you can take your eyes off the view!), the galley style kitchen, a Murphy bed and the full bathroom. One of the private balconies is accessed from the living room. Walk down the carpeted steps to the bedroom suite, with a king bed, full bathroom, and the second private balcony. This cozy and comfortable condo is close to the clubhouse, pool and fitness center, and it offers WiFi, too! A total of 990 square feet and only 52 steps to the road where the four passenger golf cart is parked. Come relax, refresh and enjoy! H228

Rental of a vacation home in Hamilton Cove includes use of the community’s amenities (pool, spa, health club, 18-hole putting course, tennis courts, croquet court, sand volleyball court and beach area with built in barbecues and picnic tables). Some restrictions may apply. Occupants subject to Hamilton Cove Homeowners Association Rules & Regulations.

This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum July & August).

Beautiful views

The condo is in a beautiful location with spectacular views. Hamilton Cove (the condo complex) is a 10-15 minute golf cart ride from downtown Avalon and there are 4 sets of stairs to get up to the unit. It included a golf cart for 4 that added value to the cost of the stay. The beds were comfortable, the unit is functional, and the washer and dryer is in a closet near the front door, so very convenient. The property has a beach, beach volleyball court, tennis courts, and pool and hot tub. We enjoyed the visit.

Not so great!

I booked this unit because the listing said washer and dryer. Important to me because I was checking in on day 10 of a long trip. The washer and dryer are actually located outside the unit in the hallway and shared by three other units and the housekeepers. Not convenient and always full of someone else's sheets and towels. Two people had to squeeze onto the cheap patio furniture. Listing states newly remodeled...yep, and the paint, extra flooring and lots of other junk took up a great deal of the closet space. I was really bummed when my son's family checked into their unit-a big, beautiful 2 BR with a long patio filled with comfortable furniture. And he only paid a little more than me. Next time, that is where I am going.

Not the quality expected.

This unit has been partially upgraded but also in need of repairs. No air conditioning and lots of stairs to get to door. Bedding worn, pillows terrible. Golf cart was one of the worst in Hamiliton Cove.

Really lovely views and nice villa

Nice villa in a beautiful part of the island. The area was quiet and peaceful with beautiful views and the villa was very comfortable. Access to a golf cart allowed for easy travel around the island with the kids.

Great location and perfect view

This property has great location- close to amenities, the beach, and in the middle if the building which provides great views. That being said, there many stairs to climb to access the condo- no elevator. The design of the buildings causes outside noise to echo, you will be heard. During our stay, the community was quiet and peaceful most of the time. The ocean could be heard in the living room at night with the windows closed. The condo kitchen could use a few kitchen basics (cheeses grater, cookie sheet), propane for the BBQ ( which we never receive and we were not contacted after leaving a voice mail and an email). Although soap is supposed to be provided, it was only in the kitchen. Two bathrooms with only the shampoo/conditioner packets. We were given one set of keys at check-in and given grief when we didn't return two sets at checkout. Hmmm. Aside from a little dust, the condo was clean, especially the kitchen and bathrooms. The golf cart is a huge plus and necessary but it is ready for a new canopy and thorough cleaning. Overall, I would rent again. I know how to better prepare for the small inconveniences that came up. The location was perfect. Lots to do on the island
