Fresh paint, LVP flooring, and updated furnishings and bathrooms enhance an ambience that is already open, bright, and inviting. There are three bedrooms: a king, queen, and pyramid bunk with trundle to drift off to sleep after a day of playing in the Atlantic surf, fishing in the sound or exploring Hatteras Island’s endless ways to make lasting memories. A six-person hot tub, located on the first level deck, is perfect for a relaxing soak; the fabulous tiki bar ideal for mixing up your favorite beverages to toast these treasured moments. Those bringing home their fresh catch for dinner will appreciate a lighted fish cleaning station and two big outdoor showers and changing area. Begin your day on the home’s wrap-around deck welcoming the sunrise; bid it farewell as it sinks below the sound. It all comes full circle when you book CIRCLE IN THE SAND for your next vacation. Lovely house!

Great time visiting this property! Be aware that the spiral staircase can be a little tricky for dogs (not carpeted) but they get the hang of it quickly — just make sure no one tried to run up and down the steps inside! The outdoor steps are easier for anyone who has a bit of a challenge with a spiral staircase

Best house we’ve rented

Circle in the Sand was the nicest home we’ve rented in OBX. We’ve been going for years and gone through a different realty company. The Director of Operations for Surf or Sound, David, was extremely communicative and checked on us a couple of times. The house was beautiful and so clean. It had all the amenities we were looking for and was close enough to the beach that we could easily walk. We will definitely consider this property again for future visits and will definitely rent through Surf or Sound again.

It’s nice and conveniently located but could use some maintenance, it was windy when we stayed and pieces of the windows were falling off in the living room and that made it so the wind ripped through the living room kitchen area and there was a fish smell in the entryway that we couldn’t find we let the door hang open when we arrived to let it air out every day for a bit but we looked everywhere to try and clean it. Other wise everything was good

Terrific time in the round!

This house was a perfect house for us. We loved the unobstructed views provided by the windows on the main floor. The open floor plan has a complete kitchen, with any appliance you would need. Plenty of dishes, glasses, flatware. Beds were firm enough for us - we tend to like a firm mattress, but with a nice soft top. Bathrooms met out needs, nothing fancy here. Short walk to the beach, wide deep sand with wonderful waves. The hot tub was enjoyed after morning work-outs. Very short walk to the Dairy Queen if a frozen treat is calling your name. We would definitely consider returning!

Inaccurate Location

The house was very clean, and beautiful. They def need a new mattress or thick mattress pad our back is killing. And it is categorized as ocean view which is EXTREMELY deceptive. On a crystal clear day you can see a SLIVER of the ocean. Should definitely just be listed as ocean side. The grill needs maintenance. We made some burgers and it went from not at all to being on fire a bit. It stayed contained but charred our burgers. Also not really a complaint, but in the bedrooms the light switches don't turn on any lights which is odd 😂 Overall we had a fantastic time, and would probably stay again. The location was great to food Lion and the drive on beaches that we love.

The location was perfect The house is literally a 2minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute drive to the local grocery store. Plenty of activities to do and historical places to see. I recommend this to anyone wanting a fun family vacation.
