I didnt fully read the description which included Motel and Dining Room. I admit I was disappointed to not be in the actual house. And, when i got to my room my disappointment vanished. Beautifully set out with lovely bedding, a wonderful bathroom with a full sized tub/shower, and air conditioning. The check-in staff helped me find an open restaurant to eat at, only a short walk away.

Our stay at this hotel was very comfortable. The location was excellent, right near shops and restaurants. We went to the Cabot the next day and the drive was very close. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This is a lovely inn in Baddeck. We were too early in the season for their breakfast/restaurant, but there was an excellent cafe across the street. We got many excellent suggestions for activities, hikes, and sightseeing in the area. I hope to visit the area again and I would absolutely stay here again.

The hostess was incredibly gracious and well informed of the area. Had a welcoming and helpful attitude. Recommendations for the area and very knowledgeable! I was concerned when we got the room at the top of the stairwell that we would have to deal with noise from other people going up and down, I was pleasantly surprised that it was not the case!

The lady that welcomed us was so nice and gave us excellent information about the town and surroundings. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The owner of the House which has been in his family for many years was also very interesting to talk to and had great information to share with us about our stay. I highly recomment the Telegraph House.

We stayed 2 nights at Telegraph House. The location is great and walking distance to some restaurants and has beautiful surroundings. The Motel is a converted older house and is charming. The sheets and the room were clean. The furniture is very dated and the amenities are minimal but adequate. Overall recommend this place as a good option in Baddeck.
