We were here last year as well. The hotel has a restaurant as well. The spa in the hotel is nice. There is also a public spa down the street which folks enjoy for a fee.

Disappointing

The pool was great, but we couldn't use it or the jacuzzi on our last morning because of an Aquafit class. Although the check-in was efficient we were not told about the Konus Card available to visitors for free train and bus travel in the Black Forest. We learnt of this in the local tourist information office, but only after we had checked out. The use of a fan in the non-aircon room would have been a bonus.

Good value faded glory.

Badenweiler is a total gem and proven by the German Met Office to have air so great it curative! There are great little shops and a stunning public spa. This hotel is perfectly fine for the money, although the restaurant is overpriced for dinner-go elsewhere. But breakfast was excellent and included-few hotels manage scrambled eggs well and we couldn't get them to turn the coffee machine on so coffee was ghastly! The hotel is faded but absolutely fine. Clean and quiet, and you get what you pay for. Service was excellent.

Friendly staff and great town!

The hotel is based in a beautiful little town and from the outside it is ok. Stepping inside is like entering the set of Faulty Towers. Furniture and decor are very dated (although clean). Very very strong smell of cigarettes from the reception that leaks into the rooms. They were smoking in the back office in the evening. Staff were super friendly and cheerful just a shame about the smell and the decor.

If you're into classic hotels, this is for you. Our rooms were huge, more like a suite. And there's towels everywhere. The city is beautiful. It's a perfect place for spending a couple of days.

Großes gerĂ€umiges Zimmer mit Balkon. Bad etwas klein aber o.k. Wasser auf dem Zimmer. Wellnessbereich nicht genutzt. Insgesamt sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

Das Essen war sehr fein, das Personal sehr freundlich. Leider haben wir jeden Abend einen anderen Tisch erhalten. Am letzten Abend wurden wir vom schönen Fensterplatz nach hinten in die dunkle Ecke verbannt. Obwohl wir noch ein Tag verlÀngert haben.

Unser Superior Zimmer war sehr gross....leider keine Möglichkeit zum The oder Kaffee machen ..es hatte aber einen KĂŒhlschrank(laut)....die Umgebung war schön....FrĂŒhstĂŒck annehmbar...am ersten Morgen wurden wir in eine finstere Ecke gesetzt...am 2ten Morgen dann ein anderer Tisch.. Nachtessen hatten wir nicht... Wellnessbereich war gut..... Durch das Alter des Hotels obwohl schön renoviert...waren die Böden leicht uneben...Hanglage....was mir manchmal das GefĂŒhl auf einem Schiff zu sein gab....nicht negativ aber gewöhnunsbedĂŒrftig🙃 Bei der Abreise wurden uns 2 GĂ€stekarten an die Quittung geheftet...warum wir die nicht bei der Ankunft erhielten...kein Hinweis...ist fĂŒr mich schwer erklĂ€rbar.....auch kein Hinweis beim Auschecken dass wir den Wellnessbereich noch nutzen könnten...wusste ich von anderen Bewertungen...
