Unwind and reconnect with nature in this one-of-a-kind 3-bedroom 3 bath tropical hideaway with a pool nestled in the heart of the rainforest. Tucked away beside a gentle waterfall stream, surrounded by towering trees and lush vegetation, this home offers the perfect balance of comfort, adventure, and tranquility. Wake up to the calls of howler monkeys, spot toucans in the canopy, and maybe even catch a glimpse of a sleepy sloth in the trees above. Yes, it does give Swiss Family Treehouse vibes!

What Makes Casa Sirena Azul Special

Private creekside/waterfall setting: with the perfect flow right along the property—perfect for meditating, exploring, or dipping your toes

The perfect place for nature and relaxation, Casa Sirena Azul includes a large garden area with a private spacious pool and covered rancho/lounge area.

3 spacious bedrooms and full size bathrooms provide privacy within the home.

First floor:
- Spacious living room, dinning room and kitchen with ceiling fans and Smart TV. Walks out to additional dinning area on the outside porch. Enough space for all guests. Also on the first floor is the laundry room including detergent and a fully equipped kitchen with plenty of room to prepare meals and enjoy a fun time with your guests. The kitchen also includes basic cooking ingredients such as condiments, cooking oil, coffee & sugar.

Second floor:
Bedroom 1: Full size bed with A/C and ceiling fan.
Bedroom 2: Queen bed and a comfy full size sofa bed.

Both rooms share a full bathroom.

Third floor:

Bedroom 3: Single master bedroom with a queen size bed and a full size bathroom. The bedroom has a balcony that surrounds the entire room and has lovely jungle views and a peek at the ocean. On some days you can be treated to observe a family of monkeys that love to travel along the trees in the morning and then back again in the afternoons.

The easy access off the main beach highway allows for just about any car to get in. There is a covered parking area and the house is just a short drive (by car) from the grocery stores and entertainment.

The main swimming beaches of Playa Dominical and Playa Hermosa are just 10 minutes by car! Plenty adventures like paragliding, rafting, zipline, surfing, ATV, horseback riding to waterfalls and more await you! We welcome your family to visit our home and enjoy a wonderful experience!

Please note: Although some guests may not think it's necessary for this home, we always recommend a 4x4 vehicle because it is gravel road and during rainy season it can get a bit tricky.

If you prefer private transport, we can assist with that as well. Just let us know.

After 10 years we returned to this wonderful place with its calming river sounds, wonderful pool and it is equidistant to Domincal and Uvita. It is a tropical climate and has aged over the decade, yet retained its charm. The property manager was very responsive when we had an A/C issue, coming late at night to diagnosis the problem. It is a very unique setting.

Ahhh-mazing

We had a wonderful time here. Beds were comfy and air worked well in two rooms, but not the small one. We had our kids sleep in a room together because of this, but they are young so it was fine. Property care taker and host were very responsive when we couldnt figure out the stove. I loved having coffee on the balcony in the morning. Pool was clean. Had a great time playing in the river out back and even caught some very large prawns to add to our breakfast. Saw many birds, geckos, and an agoutis, which was cool. On our last morning we saw capuchins and most mornings could hear howlers. We also couldnt figure out the TVs, but really didnt phase us as we almost never watch TV while vacationing. Wifi worked great. Power went out once, but not unusual in Costa Rica and we were gone for most of the time, returning and without for maybe 15 minutes. Saw the lineman. Would definitely stay here again. It was beautiful and peaceful (and i felt like a disney princess in a fairytale castle, just with kids!)

Jungle paradise

We stayed 5 nights at Casa Azul, and had a fantastic time. The grounds around the house are simply amazing, and we made great use of the pool and the creek. We had many visiting toucans, and were able to see a variety of poison dart frogs down by the creek. The house itself is spacious, and while the equipment is not new, it all worked and the house was well equipped with everything we needed. The washerdryer were very useful :)Overall, Casa Azul offered excellent value for money, and I would highly recommend it to anyone!

Charming

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Sirena Azul. The home is very private and secluded. The grounds are gorgeous with a very relaxing area around the pool for birding. The pool is the perfect temperature and there was a young man who cleaned the pool a few times during our week stay. Listening to the abundance of birds flying in and out of the massive mango, palm and other lush indigenous trees, calling them with our Merlin Bird App, watching Capuchin crossing through the yard, hearing Howler Monkeys was heavenly. Waking up to the gorgeous waterfall just outside our bedroom window was so soothing. The check in process with Christina and Eric was flawless and they were very accommodating. The downstairs living area needs a bit of a pick me up, older uncomfortable seating. Somewhere to put your feet up for multiple people is definitely lacking. Somewhat deceiving from the pictures online. The lighting downstairs is awkward, too much LED lighting. The kitchen is well stocked and we made all our meals at home. We enjoyed the fresh fruits, vegetables, fish and chicken from the local markets. The upstairs shower does not have adequate pressure, so we showered on the second floor. The chairs around the pool need a small table to place drinks or appetizers on, one of the pool chairs needs repair. We felt extremely safe at Casa Sirena Azul and will return to Costa Rica soon!
