Quiet relaxing post Xmas stay
Publié le 30 déc. 2023 sur HotelsExcellent stay at The Salthouse. We visited a few days after Christmas for a relax and recharge and it was perfect for that. The bar area was well decorated and lovely atmosphere by the fire. Spa was small but restricted numbers meant it wasn’t busy. Meal in the main restaurant was nice if not spectacular but service, drink selection and atmosphere made it a very pleasant evening.
Recommend for couples or small groups.

A fine modern hotel with superb views of Fairhead, Rarthlin Island and beyond. What made our stay special was undoubtedly the staff in the restaurant and bar. All of the young waitresses had a great sense of humour, balanced with good manners, and were able to engage in appropriate banter with us. Stuffiness was distinctly absent and will encourage us back again. All-in-all a wonderful experience.
