A Stylish country home that has been featured on TV's Getaway and Sydney Weekends, Blackwattle is the place to stay when visiting the Barrington Tops.
Enjoy the tranquil country air or feed the Kangaroos, native bird life and the local possums. At night the sky is ablaze with a million stars. This western red cedar 3 bedroom house is tastefully fitted out to meet every need incl pool table, spa bath, log fire, satellite TV, A/C, big kitchen and a spacious balcony with BBQ. The Tennis court and swimming pool are 40m away. All linen and blankets are provided.

Dungog is a 20 minutes drive to stock up on food and drinks or enjoy the 4 cafes, 3 pubs, 3 clubs and a pizzeria.

Beautiful getaway

The house was perfectly located within walking distance to the pool and tennis court. Great homely feeling from the moment you walk in the door. We had most meals on the spacious deck watching the kangaroos and birds. The hosts were wonderful ensuring we had all the creature comforts of home. Will definitely return for another family weekend.

Another memory for family

Great country retreat

A big country house with all the comforts and facilities. We were a group of 3 couples who wanted a base to explore Dungog and the Barrington Tops from. Well equipped, warm in winter, cleaners did a great job in presenting the house. Quiet and peaceful.

We had the Best time, wish it was longer.

Highlight was the birds even had bower birds both male & female as well as the king parrots, just awesome. The view is great, house has everything you need. I just can't wait to be visiting again but will be going with other family or friends.

Christmas at Bandon Grove

Our family came together from various parts of QLD and NSW for four days over Christmas. Bandon Grove provided all that we needed for preparing a celebratory feast with kitchen utensils, baking and serving dishes, wine glasses and plenty of room around the table in air-conditioned comfort. The oven lived up to expectations, cooking a magnificent pavlova as well as a delicious pork roast with crackling. The three bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds and the huge bathroom provided a relaxing spa. Hikes and swimming in the nearby pool were enjoyable activities easily accessed. We had a wonderful time and hope to return at another time.
