Great hotel amenities (rooftop hot tub, fire, and sauna) but the bed was extremely uncomfortable. For an upper end hotel, I expected a soft bed with plush bedding but it felt like i was sleeping on a crinkly straw mat. I enquired with the front desk but they didn't have a mattress topper (which some hotels offer) and instead offered an extra duvet to sleep on for extra padding. It helped a bit but I didn't sleep well either night. It was very disappointing for a pricey hotel.

Very friendly staff, clean hotel, food was good at sudden sally. We had mountain views which was beautiful to wake up to every morning. Parking in garage was a bonus as it was snowing. Banff is a beautiful, memorable place to visit.

I had a great stay at Hotel Canoe and Suites. The place is really nice and peaceful, perfect for relaxing. The staff are very polite and welcoming, and the rooms are clean and well-maintained. Overall, I had a really pleasant experience and would definitely stay here again

Overall great hotel, excellent, friendly staff, nice atmosphere, super clean. We very much enjoyed our stay. The in room coffee that is freshly ground every day is a nice touch and the rooms in general are well appointed. The hot pools are a really welcome amenity after a full day of skiing. The one thing I would caution is the specific room category of the STUDIO CONDO. The hotel has very few of those and they are located in an "endcap" location of some buildings on the ground floor, built into the hill, on the same level as the parkade. As a result, the units are not only incredibly dark, more than the pictures would suggest, but also intolerably COLD, requiring it's in wall unit heater to fire up every five minutes or so loudly around the clock. And yet, despite all of that heating the room never gets to a normal room temperature because the tiled floor emanates the temperature from the frozen ground. As a result it is impossible to sleep in there in winter. The hotel staff is seemingly well aware of this and has been very helpful to change our booking at no charge to a Suite within a minute of complaining after a sleepless first night. That was welcome, however then leads to losing the kitchen equipment which is the whole idea of booking a Condo rather than a hotel room or Suite. Again the staff was accommodating by providing us with some dishes and a toaster so that we could make use of the food that we brought at least partially and we made the best of it.

If you are looking for a wonderful hotel, stop and book immediately. I canNOT say enough good things about this hotel. We were traveling with kids. The baked goods at Sudden Sally were honestly, amazing and not overpriced. The staff were so friendly. The room was amazing, clean with incredible views. The hot pools were great. The coffee/tea options were such a treat.
