Beautiful resort and grounds. Check in was easy and quick. Communication before the trip was a plus. We had an ocean view but probably would have been better on a higher floor. My fault. I was asked at check in if 1st floor was ok. Lesson learned. Beds were comfortable. Housekeeping was attentive to all needs. Fresh towels and beds made before we got back from the day. Shower was AMAZING. Restaurants were good. Lots of options. I recommend the wings! Would have been nice if open later than 9pm. However this is most of Maine. Bus was available directly in front of resort. Or 30 min walk to town. Short drive to Acadia. Pool and hot tub were always quite busy. Didn’t have a chance to enjoy the hot tub because it was always full.

Great for kids! This property is excellent for families. The pool and on-site dining are convenient, and the Acadia National Park bus stops in the parking lot. The rooms are showing their age a bit - our bathroom and balcony doors were swollen from humidity and difficult to close or open; from the door noises of rooms around us, ours wasn't the only one with this issue. We could also hear the conversations and crying children in the room next to us through a shared door. But the views and facilities are excellent. We did have an issue with someone else charging bar expenses to our room, but the front desk removed that from our bill without an issue. If you have kids, don't hesitate. If you want a quiet stay, maybe seek other options or make sure you at least have a room without an adjoining door.

Does not provide microwave oven in the room like most hotels do! One of the female receptionists does not appear very friendly and respectful Saturday night was pretty noisy from Stone House in the back of south wing 😓

The property is great staff are wonderful you can sit by the shore or hang by pool and see the shore. Rooms are beautifully decorated and bathrooms were nice and showers had fantastic pressure and were just beautifully designed and high grade faucets and showers
