Super cute decor, and the beds were very comfortable. Loved the baked goods that were baked daily by the staff, and the breakfast never disappointed. We went during the off season, so housekeeping was on request, which was not a problem for us. The inn was walking distance from the main village center, which was super convenient. I would absolutely stay here again!

I loved everything about this stay! The staff were exceptional! It was clean and I loved the homey, yet elevated environment. My only complaint is that there weren’t enough parking spaces for every vehicle.

Excellent inn with many rooms but didn’t feel crowded even at breakfast in the indoor/outdoor spaces. Free private parking and walkable in town. Cute garden and gas fire pit outside also with outdoor rocking chairs on the front porch, and a side area for eating or resting outside. Breakfast was good and included a savory or a sweet option and fresh fruit. Pastries, bread, cereal, and other accoutrements were available for supplement. Rooms were very nice with good beds and bedding and had a microwave and mini fringe and small counter area.

We were ushered out of our room in the morning by a friendly fire alarm set off by the kitchen staff. the breakfast was good but somewhat small portions and the buffet area wasn't restocked at any point throughout our meal.

What a great spot! Staff was exceptionally helpful. The easy parking and short walk to town was a bonus because of very limited parking in town. The room was quiet and clean, with a hot shower, comfortable bed and coffee in the room. Breakfast served in the main lounge was delicious. I’d highly recommend this Inn!

One Night in Bar Harbor

Very convenient to Main Street downtown, just a few blocks to walk or drive. Parking on site, easy access to Inn. Bed was great, bathroom was very tiny and less than appealing. We were facing the roadway in our room and we did not experience any noise which was a plus. Breakfast was included in the rate and was choice of pancakes or a frittata. Coffee and muffins and fruit were also options. We are coffee lovers and would give the coffee a thumbs down, but nice selection of hot teas. Overall, clean and great location. This is akin to a mini hotel.

The inn is lovely and very clean. Ample parking in the back. It’s on a busy street but no noise. It is walkable into the downtown area. We had “bald porcupine” room. It’s on the main level with no one above us so it was especially quiet. We had two issues. The pillows are like cement. We asked for a soft pillow and the desk clerk said that’s all we have. The TVs are smart TVs and one night we wanted to watch the Yankees- Red Sox game and noticed that there was no Apple TV icon. We asked them in the morning if they could somehow get Apple TV on our TV. They didn’t. We would stay again, but somehow bring or buy extra pillows.

We enjoyed our stay at the Inn on Mt Desert in September 2025-we booked late in the season and they had a vacancy. We stayed in the Beehive right behind the kitchen overlooking the parking lot. We liked being on the lobby floor, felt like the front porch rocking chair area was ours and we got to know Connor and staff well- which was very nice! We would choose a better view next time, but other than that- room was spacious and bed was comfy. Shower is tight. The grounds are beautiful with gardens and fire pit, but seem like a wasted space tucked in the back, not sure what can be done with this area but it has great potential. We enjoyed getting text alerts inviting us to the live music/cocktails at the sister property on Cottage St but we were busy and never went. The breakfasts included with the room were a highlight of staying at the Inn. There were 2 choices daily that were always gourmet and artistic- kudos to their wonderful kitchen chefs! My fav were the blueberry pancakes but the mushroom omelette focaccia was a close 2nd. There is always the bagel, English muffin, fruit, muffins and cookies as well. Tea selection was stellar and the fresh brewed coffees had a coconut version that we loved/ we were excited to find it for sale in town as a local coffee. Overall- the Inn is homey, comfy, clean and friendly. It is a little walk to the hopping parts of town but not bad and we always found parking when we drove in- but it’s not peak season so things were generallycalm.
