Really disappointed. This is marketed as a five-star hotel, but the room comfort was honestly unacceptable. The windows were extremely old and poorly sealed — cold air came through constantly and the room was noisy 24/7. I had to keep the heating on all the time just to cope, and even then it felt cold and uncomfortable. The window also made strange whistling/“whispering” sounds, which made it hard to relax or sleep.

Poor staff service. Asked for room service so 9:00 pm they delivered at 10:15 pm. This was the first day. The second day they didn’t clean the room. Just get inside to take the dishes from the dinner and didn’t made the bed, didn’t clean the floor where I accidentally spilled some soda, when I called front desk they told me it was normal, that room it’s supposed to be done in the afternoon, but it was 7:15 pm when I called. Ir was not until I went to talk to the manager that they sent someone to clean the room.

I had booked a king-sized bed but ended up with two separately made singles put together. This also happened at the time of my last booking Dec 15-21, although I was able to change that. The temperature in the room dropped to 16C overnight so it got a bit chilly.

Room was modern, spacious, clean and well appointed, however, there was a strange smell in the hallway which progressivly became worse. By our third day, it smelled like there was a sewage backup. Everything else was wonderful. Breakfast was amazing.

We left. That pretty much says it all. They booked us rooms on different floors (one room is for our kids we need them next to us) and when we asked to change they said “we are full”. They were NOT full, the hotel was empty. They were useless and patently unhelpful. Oh and the check in took 1/2 hour. In a 5 star hotel! Avoid.
