The Space

The Bedrooms

Guests have access to the private dock and lakefront area, shared with guests of the upstairs apartment only — keeping the waterfront quiet and uncrowded. Lake towels are provided.

We made a deliberate choice not to put a television in this apartment. Families who book this space consistently tell us it's one of the things they appreciate most by the end of the trip. There are games, there's a foosball table, there's a fireplace, and there's a lake. Those things tend to win.

The property sits at the end of a private dirt road in Barnet, Vermont — genuinely secluded, with no through traffic and no neighboring vacation crowds. Main roads, St. Johnsbury, and the broader Northeast Kingdom are all a short drive away. Montreal is approximately 2 hours; Burlington under 2. In fall, the foliage in this part of Vermont is extraordinary.

Guests are warmly welcome in their apartment and the shared outdoor spaces; we ask that all boundaries be respected as you would in any private home.
