The elevator was broken, we're on the 10th floor, had to walk down 10 floors with my cane, recovering from knee surgery. Please reimburse for our stay. Wasn't able to walk on our vacation for that day.

Stayed here many times before,main reasons are large room,bathtub and free car park.Used to include free buffet breakfast but no longer available which is a shame as the variety and quality were excellent.Also no longer available is the very handy free coffee to take away area.

Of three elevators, one was operational. Unfortunately it was also not the one leading to the sauna, so you had enquire how to reach it. Upon check-in no information was given whatsoever, and room contained no info, such as the mini-bar. The hotel has also cut down on breakfast severely. It used to be one of the best we've had, but this time was very poor.

Great reception staff, friendly and helpful. Convenient onsite restaurant and bar. Convenient to Basel airport - though no Uber service from hotel- get your driver’s number or plan on taxi for departure. Comfortable quiet setting. Ample parking and noticed pet friendly.

At German side of the bridge of 3 countries

Very spacious room. The hotel is right at bridge of three countries. Because of the roadworks / closing, it was a bit tricky to find the hotel.

We couldn’t have been more satisfied

After many hours on the road, we finally arrived at the "Carathotel Basel/Weil am Rhein" and we couldn’t have been more satisfied. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and our room was absolutely perfect. We were given a huge, comfortable bed, and everything was clean and well-prepared. We truly can’t fault a single thing and would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and pleasant stay.
