Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean. Good variety of breakfast options. Only exception was the outside of the hotel. It looked dirty and there was a homeless person laying down with alcohol bottles next to the doorway.

My room was very well-appointed and comfortable. Just lacked a chair. There was a problem one day when my room was not serviced. This required many texts to and from reception (while I was out) to get the matter dealt with. Breakfast buffet had a reasonable range of hot and cold food. However the only bread available was for toasting. Fresh rolls or crusty bread would have been welcome.

Perfect for a city break. The rooms and communal areas are clean and modern. Breakfast is fresh and there's lots of choice. Some people said there is no bacon at breakfast, but that's incorrect – as of October 2025, there *is* bacon at breakfast. Location is excellent, just a short walk from the train station and city centre. The only thing that lets it down is the lack of car parking, but that's due to its central location so can't do much about that! I used JustPark to get parking nearby.

We enjoyed our brief stay here. The room was compact but comfortable and extremely convenient to eateries and walking distance to the Tower Bridge and other landmarks. We ate at the pub across the alley for dinner which appeared to be mostly locals, which was a nice experience. We would stay here again.
