Great pub stop

Smashing one night stop for work. Friendly staff, clean comfortable room, ample parking (I was in a 16-passenger seat minibus) and smashing food. Buses from directly outside, only 20 minute drive from central Bath. Highly recommend!

Due to all the diversions and road closures, it took us over 2 hours to get to the property from University of Bath. We called the Hotel a couple of times to get directions and they were very helpful. The young lady that checked us in was very polite and friendly.

We stayed on dates that the pub/restruant were closed (sun evening to weds), but a few other businesses in the area were also closed these days. Looks a nice little pub. Check in and out easy. Room lovely, bed comfy. Excellent for what we wanted

We had an overnight stay here as we were attending a friends birthday party nearby. A very pleasant pub in a quiet area. Good onsite parking . Staff were welcoming and helpful in assisting sourcing a local taxi service for us . Our room was spacious and comfortable .there was a very comprehensive info folder in the room.which had lots of info on local areas walks and local farm shops , one of which we headed to for brunch the next day and it was great.. Thoroughly recommend the Rose & Crown

The rooms were great would recomend we was working away and didnt relise yhe pub didnt open on monday and tuesday not much in the area to go to eat other thsn that i would highly recomend
