This was the first time Iâve ever not stayed in a hotel so I was extremely nervous booking here. This property was the best first experience I think I couldâve ever had! Me and my partner are both in college so price was a really big factor in where we were able to stay. When I saw the price of this cabin I thought it may be a little more lower end just because it was comparatively inexpensive to anything else I saw. We were absolutely blown away when we went through the door though! The cabin was so nice and clean, very comfortable, and just had great vibes all around! The cabin was stocked with soaps and shampoos, towels, etc. which was so great to see. We came on a weekend that was stormy and loveeeeed sitting on the porch and listening to the rain (metal roof for the win). We had no issues with heat at all which was definitely great for the 90 degree 80% humidity weather. The area the cabin was in was also just amazing, it seemed so safe and was very well kept. Nice people everywhere and it just felt so great to come out of the cabin and see my kayaks still on my car roof haha. The cabin is smaller so keep that in mind for larger groups, I can say it would likely sleep 4 people comfortably, but if youâre just coming for a coupleâs vacay or small family trip with kiddos this is the place!! Cannot stress enough how incredible this cabin and its manager was, itâs definitely staying on our list for future stays!
Was pleased with the cabin, Vinnie and the staff that delivered us extra bed linens. The cabin was clean and cozyThe only down side was, we thought that the fishing area was closer. But over all, we had a great stay!
Loved it! This place is so cute, comfy, and welcoming. The management team is excellent. We ran into a small issue the first night and I messaged Vinnie, he responded quickly and sent the maintenance team. The issue could not be immediately fixed so they moved us to another cabin. It was late and I was tired and cranky after the long trip my apologies to management. The management team went above and beyond my expectations, with apologies and rectifying the issue. The next day they repaired the issue in my original cottage, and we were able to move back in. I couldn't be happier, our little get away turned out to be peaceful and relaxing. Such a beautiful place to stay. We will stay there again on our next trip back to Tennessee. Thank you for your hospitality and a great experience. Much respect and appreciation to you.
Loved the view and location. Hate it was basically a 10 hour stay. We came for our grandsonâs graduation at Tennessee Tech. Due to situation at home we had to come back, otherwise we would have stayed long. Maybe next time.
We picked this place because it was economical and in a great location within 6 great waterfall trails. It's a tiny intimate cabin with basic amenities The host is responsive and the area is quiet. The maintenance staff is a couple of Tennessee good ole boys. A couple of things to recommend if you are going to stay here. At sunset take a walk down the lane behind the cabin and go watch it in the gazebo, its a beautiful site. If you are getting groceries to cook dinner in the cabins, get them in Kentucky prior to getting into Tennesee because of the food tax in the state. Over all we spent maybe 3 waking hours a day in the cabin, most of our days were on trails enjoying the best of Tennessee. Over all we would stay here again.
Stayed the weekend to go watch our niece in her final band performance for her senior year. The place was great, and well of the beaten path and away from traffic noise, etc. Reading the reviews ahead of time I had no doubt it would be a lovely little place and it did not disappoint. To the âspoiled touristâ that posted a bad review anonymouslyâŠnot sure what youâre complaining about. Maybe next time you should check into a hotel instead.
This place was wonderful. Fantastic large bedroom with a fireplace and two porches - we had coffee in the sun on the small front porch every morning and dinner on the large covered back porch with a BBQ grill. Very nice rustic interior with sliding wood doors and cute decorations. Would definitely stay here again.
Absolutely loved the cabins mine theme. It had everything we needed. Kitchen, deck, grill, etc. Decor was amazing. View was beautiful and close to everything we wanted to do. Will definitely be back.
We were flying blind so to speak with this rental, had to keep reaching out for code to get into property, there were no written instructions anywhere about trash, lights , nothing. Was raining when we got there the downhill slabs were real slippery to get to the stairs. No where in the spacious cottage could you hang your clothes, so for a week we had to live out of our suitcases on the floor. Very loud dog moaning/howling from sunrise to long into the night EVERY SINGLE DAYâŠwe felt sorry for it! The listing made it sound like a lake was nearby and could be seen,,,that was not the case. Too much decorative stuff taking up space. Just a good cleaning of the windows and ceiling fan blades would be useful. And you should disclose the fact that it is an RV Park! Fortunately there were none while we were there. The deck furniture and tables were so dirty you couldn't sit on them. Noisy truck sitting right outside our cottage many nights running for long periods of timeâŠand WHY?? Hopefully you will take this as intended so you can make it more user friendly and comfortable for your next guests.
I was impressed with how clean this place was! It was a perfect one night stop on our trip to Ohio. There is a little town nearby with gas stations and a grocery store. We had all the dishes we could need. The back porch was especially lovely and we loved playing in the backyard with the dogs.
Also, there is only a tiny window in the bedroom and we slept so well! The bed is very comfortable. Thank you for the great stay Vinnie!
Neat cabin close to an awesome lake! Center Hill Lake to be precise. Our Host Vinnie is very punctual and has done a lot of work to this cabin and the surrounding area. This cabin worked well for the 5 of us and was very clean and kept! It has super fast internet with two tv's and plenty of apps. Nice big deck and charcoal grill. Lots of towels and two a/c units. Nice clean linen and everything else in between. Vinnie also has a private boat launch close by which saves a ton of time if you bring your own watercraft rather than going to a pubic boat ramp. The cabin is roughly 15 mins from Cookville. That small city has everything a person needs. Be sure to hit the restaurants on the lake and enjoy your time! Its worth it
