The Red Fox Inn by Cummins Falls / Baxter / Cookeville

The Red Fox Inn is located in the beautiful small town of Baxter, TN. This is a lovely two story, four bedroom inn with two full bathrooms. The Inn is great for friends and families to come together. The home has recently been remodeled and new to short term rental.


The space

The Inn is only 8 miles to Cookeville and Tennessee Tech University, 2 œ miles to Interstate I-40, 9 miles to Cummins Falls State Park, 1.4 miles to DelMonaco Winery, 8 miles to Burgess Falls State Park, 13 miles to Center Hill Lake, 67 miles to the Nashville Airport, one hour to Nashville. The Inn is located in between Nashville and Knoxville right off Interstate 40 and only two hours to the Great Smoky Mountains.

The Red Fox Inn is a wonderful place for family retreats and friends getting together. The Red Fox is perfect for outside weddings and rehearsals dinners. If you have a birthday, anniversary, family reunion or corporate event the Inn would be the perfect place to celebrate. There are plenty of shades trees, the game room, horse shoes, badminton, volleyball and parking. There are 4 cleared acres that can be used for larger functions.

Each bedroom has their own private Wi-Fi cable TV along with the living room and game room. The kitchen will seat eight and the dining room will seat five also for large groups. The two bedrooms downstairs have king beds and all the bedrooms have new mattresses and bedding. One bedroom upstairs has a king bed the other bedroom has a queen and twin bed, there is also 2 blow up mattresses. This room also has a walk out balcony where you can sit outside, drink your coffee and enjoy the beautiful grounds of the Inn. There is also a nice size laundry room, guest are welcome to use.

There is a large deck with a beautiful gazebo behind the house and a nice bricked area, perfect for cookouts and entertaining.

At night you can relax in the 6 person luxurious hot tub. All while looking into the beautiful night sky and watching the shooting stars.

For family fun, we have at the Red Fox Inn, a large game room with fun entertainment including a pool table, arcade games, electronic darts and other games. Also enjoy watching sports on the large flat screen while playing cards. The game room is perfect for all ages.

Everything was absolutely perfect! Gina was very responsive; the house was great and beautifully decorated for Christmas; and the hot tub, game room, and outdoor sports areas were greatly enjoyed by all! There were plenty of dishes, towels, and cookware (which has been lacking in other rentals I've stayed in) - it really lacked for nothing! It was the perfect place to gather the family from various sites for our Christmas celebration!

We had an excellent stay at the Red Fox Inn. Impecabbly clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare a Thanksgiving dinner. The game room was great as there were a few days of rain during our stay so we needed indoor entertainment. The location was perfect for our needs. Highly recommend.

This is a beautiful property and Gina is an outstanding Host. This was a girls trip and we couldn’t have stayed in a more perfect place. Big kitchen, big bedrooms, comfortable beds, quiet surroundings. We loved sitting in the gazebo and talking at the end of the day. Highly recommend!

One of the cleanest rentals we have stayed at. Quiet area with not too much traffic. Gina was terrific and responded quickly. We enjoyed quiet evenings sitting in the gazebo and at the fire pit in the yard. We would definitely recommend Red Fox Inn to everyone.

Beautiful home. Everything you would need is there. Kitchen is very well stocked. Whole house is very clean. Game room is awesome. Family oriented. We were there to hike surrounding waterfalls so really didn’t get to use the game room. Gazebo was wonderful to sit out in the evening and relax. Would definitely come back here.

STAY WAS BEYOND EXPECTATIONS

Lovely and tranquil.

Home was in great condition, plenty of space for all the guests. An actual full sized pool table and a hot tub that fit us all. It was just as advertised and we enjoyed the window entertainment...the birds were a pleasant surprise.Would recommend for a nice retreat. We look forward to being able to go back for a future trip.

Owner left Christmas decorations up for us. Everything was very clean. Kids and teens enjoyed the game room. Owner was very responsive to our requests. Beds were very comfy and kitchen well stocked. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Great, relaxing, cozy home.

The house is clean, well-kept and has everything a family or friends need to have a great time. Wonderfully clean hot tub, volleyball net, and lots of beautiful yard with great trees. Host is super nice and let's you make the house your own. Lots of great hikes and waterfalls nearby. Highly recommend!

Great Family spot!

We were traveling to Cookeville for a soccer tournament and this place was perfect for our group! The house was clean and organized and all 4 bedrooms were immaculate. We played games in the game room, enjoyed the hot tub and had fun outside with horseshoes and volleyball! Highly recommend!

Perfect Home Away from Home

Gina & Chris are welcoming and attentive to any questions. The house is large enough for our children and grandchildren to all get together. The kitchen has all the basics and the house has many activities to keep everyone having fun. This is the second time we have stayed here and look forward to stay here many more times in the future.
