Very nice property. If I had known how amazing it would be I would have stayed an additional night. The town is amazing with many great shops, dining and beautiful architecture extremely close and walkable.

Lovely quaint hotel. Perfectly situated between train station and the main part of town. Check in was fast and easy. Check out was fast and easy. Every question and request was handled by the front desk. The breakfast was superb and a friendly bonjour with a smile by Lara is a great way to start the day. No reason to pay more!

Great, friendly, helpufl staff and the breakfast was pretty good. The location is perfect being a 10 minute walk from the train and 5 minutes to the town center. The internet isn't super great, but functional.

We referred to this place as “the youth hostel.” 1. Lumpy uneven beds pushed together to make one bed. 2. Paper thin walls. We could hear everything our neighbors said. 3. Plugged shower drain. We complain Ed to the front desk twice and it did not get fixed. Nothing like standing in water to dry your hair! 4. Missing battery cover for remote. 5. The distance between the bed and the wall was 12 inches. We laughed on how we had to shuffle with our back to the wall to get from one side of the room to the other. 6. Air conditioning took forever to cool down the room. We were on the first floor and could not leave our window open at night. 7. We reserved the room 9 months in advance and requested a parking spot. When we showed up we had to park on the street if we could find a spot. We would not recommend or stay here again.

Property is conveniently located right around the corner from the Cathedral. Main area for shopping and restaurants one block further. Staff (particularly Sophie) were very helpful. Hotel itself was clean but the rooms were dated and small. No elevator to second floor. Bedding, etc were fine. No face washcloths. Street parking is hit and miss but public lots around the corner.

The flooring in the room (wood vinyl plank) was not clean. Dust and long-standing grime on the plank flooring were evident. In two places, there was dry, moldy dirt that I could not clean off. The same was true in the bathroom, where the flooring adjacent to the shower exit had dried-on mold at the base of the shower exit. Beyond this concern, our stay at Hotel LeBayeux was pleasant. The breakfast service in the dining room was nicely presented, and the hotel staff was responsive to our requests for ordering a cab and providing area directions to attractions.

Our supeior double room had oder smell (we asked for a bottle of refresher) and very small, very small sofa bed converted to a small bed , closet’s hanger was very high and rod facing you not the closet’s two sides made it hard to hang, heater and AC didn’t work, soap dispenser holder broke, water leaked out of the shower stall made the bathroom wet.

Spacious room with working air conditioning, clean and updated bathroom, looks like the hotel has been recently upgraded. The location is perfect, adjacent to the Cathedral, walking distance to all the shops, museums and restaurants. Breakfast was complimentary and it offered large varieties of food.

Trip to Bayeux

We loved the hotel. It was very well positioned in Bayeux. Close to resturants, coffee shops and regular boutique style shops. The breakfast was lovely and the bed was really comfy. If visiting Bayeux or the Normandy beaches this hotel is a perfect home base.

The staff was super friendly, but the property and rooms, in particular, are not in good shape. Our room was moldy & musty. We stayed two nights, but my family was ready to check out and go somewhere else within five minutes of walking into our room. Seek out other options even if that means paying a little more.
