Bear Hug Retreat, our cozy 3 BR home set in the picturesque Colorado mountains in Forest Lakes north of Bayfield & east of Durango. George the Bear & his little buddy Sam will greet you on the large wrap-around porch with plenty of places to sit & enjoy the mountain air & beautiful views. Plenty of space for a group of friends/family to come together to play games or cook meals in our well-appointed kitchen. Close to many attractions like fishing, hiking, skiing, etc. It's the perfect getaway!

The house has a digital keypad at the front door which will provide you access to the house. The code will be provided upon check-in. You will have full and private access to the home.

(1) MINIMUM AGE: You must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property.

(2) NO SMOKING: If our cleaning crew reports any signs of smoking cigarettes, vapes, e-cigs, pipes, etc. (smell, ash, etc.) in or around the home, an automatic $500 damage charge will be incurred. The same charge applies if cigarette butts are found outside of the home. If marijuana is smoked in or around the home a $500 fee will be charged, and details about the reservation may be turned over to the appropriate authorities.

(3) NO PARTIES OR EVENTS. Parties are prohibited at the home. Other events are permitted at the home only with our prior approval.

(4) QUIET HOURS. This home is located in a residential area. To be courteous to our neighbors, we ask that you respect quiet hours between 10 PM and 7AM. If you violate quiet hours and disturb the neighbors, we will cancel your reservation; you will be required to leave the property immediately and you will not be eligible for any refunds. We may monitor noise with exterior cameras and/or noise monitoring technology.

(5) DAMAGE: You will be responsible for any damage to the home or its furnishings during your stay.

(6) TRASH: Please bag all trash and place it in the bins provided. There is a $100 charge for third party trash removal if an excessive amount of trash is left at the property.

(7) RELEASE: If an issue arises and guests request a refund, we will require guests to agree to a release before issuing a refund.

(8) NO PETS POLICY: Pets are not allowed on the property or inside the home. If we are made aware of a pet on the property, a deep cleaning fee of $500 will be charged and guests will be required to depart immediately with no refunds given.

(9) Guest needs to inquire first before booking for stays more than 30 nights.

Just a quick note—during the winter season, there is a high probability of snow, and road conditions can be challenging at times. To ensure a smooth and safe trip, we kindly recommend that you have at least an all-wheel drive vehicle for your stay.
