The staff was incredible! Gave lovely recommendations for the area. Restaurant was great, breakfast was full of great options. My daughter left her new stuffie in the room, and the front desk clerk called us on our way home to get our address to mail it home for us. 10/10 would stay again

The hotel is newer and very maintained. Austin at valet was very polite and helpful in telling us hints about Shackleford Island. Rachel (bartender) and Sharon (front desk) were so polite and when we requested the pack n play it arrived within 5 minutes with clean sheets. Everyone we met at the hotel was friendly. The breakfast has a variety of food to please even the picky eaters.

Beautiful new facility. Great location - easy walk to the historic area. The complimentary breakfast was excellent with options a step above the usual hotel offering. Only complaint was apparently they have a mandatory $15/day valet parking which was not mentioned in the listing nor explained upon our arrival. We had no parking issues the first two days of our stay but on our third day a valet informed us we had to pay $15 to park there. He became very rude and stated he would have our vehicle towed. The hotel needs to either clearly state there is a parking charge or just include it in the daily rate.

Landon the valet parking attendant was excellent. Very helpful, polite, offered help with info and everything. That was a good start The desk staff and restaurant manager were great. It's a beautiful place too.

The ad on hotels.com showed that valet parking available but it wasn’t clear that almost ALL of the parking is valet and if you don’t get one of the few spots that are free or park in the street, you are forced to do valet parking. So plan on paying a minimum of $15 for overnight and more if you are staying longer. Overall the staff was nice, but the lady checking us didn’t have a welcome demeanor. The showers are only half enclosed and do not have a full door or curtain. Otherwise we ensure our stay very much and the breakfast was top notch compared to most other hotels.

This was a beautiful brand new hotel. The balcony looking out over the Marina was a gorgeous view. The buffet breakfast had soo many choices and it was all fresh and made in-house. All the staff we encountered were very nice. Would absolutely stay here again!

The General manager assaulted me after having a heated discussion on there polices of having to use their valet parking. I was told if I didn't use there valet I would have to park on the road off of their property. I ended up not staying their after the manager called the police as I wanted them to, because I was assaulted by the manager. So I lost the $ for the room. I'm currently filing charges for the way I was treated. I would by no means stay at this place with the unprofessional managers and staff. I stayed at Holiday Inn, great place, no paid parking, I would for sure stay here again.
