Pemberton - Self contained house

Pemberton is an historic Federation style house situated right in the centre of Beechworth with a scenic view of the Old Beechworth Gaol. It is a cosy place which is perfect for that special weekend away with your loved one, an enjoyable and relaxing getaway with the girls or simply spending time exploring Historic Beechworth with your family.

Pemberton is a self contained three bedroom house that can accommodate up to eight people. Bedding is provided. Two bedrooms each have a Queen size bed; while the other room has two bunk beds. The kitchen/ lounge room area is an open plan area; with the kitchen table easily seating up to eight people. The lounge room contains a spacious leather couch and a TV. Our bathroom has a shower and a spa bath; the spa bath can cosily fit two people. A verandah follows alongside the back of the house.

Unfortunately there were some mosquitos and cockroaches in the house which made us feel uneasy. I know you can’t help them however the front door screen is completely broken so easy access for insects. Made sleeping a bit restless.

À House in 2 Parts

The kitchen and bathroom had been renovated. I’m not sure about the need for a spa bath especially as the rest of the house was in need of care and repairs eg the fly screen on the front door and the door step. Also there were a few items missing in the kitchen - no matches or way to light the cook top, no grater or collinder. We enjoyed our stay and there is some need for improvement

Amazing

This beautiful quaint little cottage has all the amenities and such charm. It is walking distance to the main shopping centre and close to churches (Christmas). We were searching for a quiet and serene spot to spend our Christmas and we were not disappointed. Thank you

Practical and Convenient

A practical stopover in a well equipped cottage, convenient to the town and attractions. If it allowed use of the fireplace, we would definitely return. Beechworth is a great winter destination, and a cosy fire in a charming cottage would just top the experience off.

Pemberton - an old charmer

Despite getting on in years, Pemberton is a lovely place to stay. The location is brilliant, being within easy walking distance of everything Beechworth has to offer. The kitchen and bathroom have been updated and are very good. It got cold overnight but we were warm in bed thanks to individual heaters and electric blankets. There is a lovely wrap around outdoor deck and good off street parking.

Quiet pleasent stay close to Beechworth CBD.

Nice and quiet cottage in walking distance of practically everything thing you could need in Beechworth. House was neat and tidy and property managers were very friendly and accommodating via email. Would recommend this place to everyone.

A great holiday.

This is a lovely, charming cottage. We had a 9 year old and adults. Walking distance to shops, wish we could have stayed longer (but school holidays are only so long). The house was clean and well made up, we felt 'at home' here. Would recommend it to anyone.

Perfect location

If you want to stay in Beechworth and be able to walk to most things in town this is a great house to stay at ,coffee ice cream pubs bakery billsons brewery lake and most of the old town sights 5 minute walk maximum. House had most things you need and nice owners that would help with any questions
