The property is beautiful and the interior hallways smell amazing. The front desk staff is wonderful. We ate two times at the restaurant onsite and were pleased both times. Shuttle service from airport was excellent. Walking distance to ferry terminal but with large bags is a hike. A taxi to the terminal is reasonable. We actually cancelled our reservation in Belize City at another property just to stay again at Fort George because we were so happy with our stay.

Best Hotel in Belize City

My stay was amazing. The room was clean and the linemen smell refreshing. customer service was excellent since; I was visited daily to find out if I needed anything, I enjoyed using the gym. I would definitely recommend others to Fort George Hotel.

Outstanding place to stay in Belize City. We spent four nights here. Staff is fantastic, the restaurant is excellent, very peaceful. Great gym, very nice pool which is usually empty and open until 11 pm. Highly recommend.

Five star accommodation

Fort George Hotel and Spa was such a nice place to end our trip before heading home. The hotel is new and modern, we stayed in the oceanfront room, which only just opened last month, and everything was clean, spacious, and it was quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a bite and drink at the bar in the restaurant, the food was delicious and we were offered complimentary bread and a ceviche shooter which was a nice surprise. We also had a couples massage which we booked last minute and they were able to accommodate us. The massage was spectacular and the spa facilities were very clean and impressive. We arrived too late to utilize the pool area and were disappointed because it was so inviting and unique with a waterfall. We would definitely stay again and recommend.
