Convenient basement suite of a duplex at the comfortable east end of Belleville. 10 minute walk to Belleville general hospital and lakeshore. Close to lots of restaurants, grocery shopping, mall, and plazas. Perfect for travelling nurses and other professionals.

Duplex home with Airbnb in the basement. There is another family living on the first floor. The two units are wall separated. Guests have access to the whole basement plus one bedroom and covered patio on the first floor. The rest of the first floor is wall separated and not accessible by guests. The first floor residents have 3 friendly dogs that may occasionally bark and visit the backyard lawn. You may hear standard household sounds from upstairs during the day.

3 bedrooms can hold up to 6 guests, sofa bed can rest 2 more people if needed. Multifunctional kitchen dining entraining space with large screen HD TV. Low ceiling in the dinning room. The house has central heating/AC which is controlled by the upstairs unit. Portable space heaters provided in each bedroom.

There are 2 parking spots available on the driveway. Night time street parking is not allowed.

Would not recommend this property

My friends and I stayed at this property on the past weekend. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. First and foremost, the uncleanliness of the space was alarming. We discovered cockroaches not only in the fridge and on the shelves but also around the basement area. This made us feel uncomfortable and concerned about our health throughout our stay. Additionally, the advertisement does not mention that the property was a shared space. This missing information significantly affected our privacy and overall experience, as we were not expected to share the accommodation with other guests. We were awakened and disrupted by loud sounds coming from the ground floor of the house. The disruptive noise made it impossible for us to enjoy peaceful morning during our stay. The outdoor lights were not functioning, preventing us from enjoying the barbecue we had planned. Overall, we did not enjoy our stay at this property. The combination of cleanliness issues, lack of information, disruptive noise, and non-functioning amenities made for an unsatisfactory experience. I would not recommend this property to any guests.
