The original 1937 Couch Family farmhouse in Bend, Oregon! The house sits on 15 acres of pasture, ponds, sagebrush and woods, and even has a seasonal creek running through a picturesque ravine. At night, watch the Milky Way from the deck or TV before a cozy fire.
Our lovely little farm is a perfect place for folks who want to get away from it all! At the end of a country road and with miles of trails around the corner, it's a nature lover's dream. Walk the pasture, say hello to our sheep, picnic by the creek. You can easily watch the birds, bunnies and deer as you sit on the huge back deck, or bring your own pups and explore the land just outside the front door. Relaxing inside- enjoy the mountain views to the west as you read or play many of our board games in front of the fire.
The house has been recently updated with an attention to detail. On the first floor is a generous master bedroom with a king bed and a small 'star' room with a full sized bed. These two rooms share a 3/4 bath. Upstairs are two generous rooms with queen beds and an office between them. Wifi is fast and plentiful for those who are looking to work from home :). A full Jack-n-Jill bath connects the two rooms, each with own sink area, and washer/dryer can be found here too!

Charming, peaceful, great location, and a beautiful home! I really enjoyed my stay. I spent a lot of time out on the deck under the large pine tree looking out at the fields and neighbor horse. Itâs also close to everything!
What an amazing farmhouse! I loved the original old school look of everything from windows to latches to furniture! Plenty of room with peace and quiet. It was a great experience for us Ohio folk, though I live in Bend. The on site property overseerâs were amazing and ironically also from Ohio. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
We loved everything about our stay. The house was quaint and had space for our family of 3 + puppy in tow without feeling like we were stepping on each other. My son loved the reading nook in one of the upstairs bedrooms and we enjoyed the endless outdoor spaceâwhether drinking coffee enjoying the early sunlight or cocktails at sunset, watching the stars, walking the property, splashing in the creek, and daily visits to Soldier (the horse)âwe enjoyed cooking and grilling at the farmhouse, and visits to all our favorite breweryâs in Bend just a short drive away. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the AC was nice on the warmest days. Kitchen was well stocked, and the owner was super responsive to our inquiries. It was the perfect space for a week away!
We were 1 of 4 families who met up in Bend for the week for a family reunion. We each took turn hosting dinners. Everyone had a great time at the farm!
We had a great visit to Tumalo and loved the farmhouse. At first, the house seemed like it might be a bit small, but inside it is beautiful and far larger than we expected- our family of 5 was very comfortable and loved the rooms, cooking in the kitchen, sitting outside looking at the Sisters, and our daughters loved being able to see the animals on the farm (neighbors Stephanie and Kirby were incredible and let them help out and taught them a ton). We also enjoyed dinner in Tumalo, floating the Deschutes, and loads of hikes. It wasnât exactly our normal Vrbo, but we had a great time!
While the cottage was further out than anticipated , the owner was so great with communication. I would recommend a normal size coffee pot but otherwise a great stay.
Our family enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse. This quaint, cozy and quiet property really grew on us over the week. It's close to Sisters, Bend and Redmond but offers lots of privacy. The AC works great as it was a hot Summer in Central Oregon. Working with Jules was easy.
