Staff are really friendly and nice, cleaners do a great job. It's the perfect place for a no fuss base while exploring Bendigo

Older style motel but beds and bedding clean and comfortable. Enough crockery & cutlery was provided but there was no cloth or detergent to clean them. (tea towel was provided.) Pool was good had 2 lounges but broken chairs should be removed from area..not much shade. Bbq and table was there but we didn't use it. You could hear the traffic as it on the main road but not enough to worry about.

This motel is in a great location in Kangaroo Flat - not far from the shopping centre & fast food outlets. On the bad side as it is located on the main road through Bendigo, it got busy around 3 to 5pm whilst workers/school traffic go by. Unfortunately, the bed was rock hard & was so bad that very little sleep was achieved which is what staying at a motel is all about - plus someone parked in our parking spot right outside our room & left really early starting their sports car & noisy engine right outside the door! If the beds were improved, I'm sure our rating would have been better.

Minor issues with our stay

Room was spacious for 2 ppl and room are very comfortable. But, during our stay we encountered a few minor issues as follows: 1) Rubbish bin still have rubbish in them, has not been empty. 2) The chain on the door was broken. 3) 2 drinking glass, I was unwashed and left on the table instead of the cabinet. 2 second glass was wrapped and put in the cabinet, but was stained with some white substances like fat oil

It's a nice comfy place for the price. I would stay closer to town for the same price. Lots of noise at night. Free wi-fi is good, as phone reception was nil. With noone at reception, the phone number to call rang at reception. The shower was a death trap, curving down into the centre. All in all, perfectly acceptable on your way somewhere, not a great place to enjoy a few nights away.
