Not worth the money and not going back!

I should have read the other reviews. The room was big and bed comfortable but the rest was not what a resort should be. Very old sofa that the cushions fell in and chair. Tub was old style bath fitter but the worst was the shower. Not a pressure balanced faucet so it kept going from hot to cold and back. I outlets by bed, there was an extension cord for the lamp. The other outlet was old and the plug kept falling out. This was a $300 per night stay (stayed wed - sat). Could have used a small table and 2 chairs to sit at. The pluses were the grounds - very nice (did not use pool). Best was the staff. Very nice and helpful. Please update the rooms.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. It was about a 10 minute walk to the downtown area which was nice so I didn’t have to worry about parking. The view was great, the room was clean, and it was accessible to a lovely walking path. Would highly recommend!

Robert was a gem. Jackie is a great host. BEWARE— blackout curtains were over the windows as advertised but the door is half glass with cheap mini-blinds and a verrrry bright light shone through lighting up the room all night.

We had a private cottage with two bedrooms, very comfortable. Extensive grounds, nature trail, and a restaurant made our short stay enjoyable.

This place is worn out and not maintained.

Visited August 2025: The suite was okay, but not special. The deck was poorly maintained and not usable. The whole place was like that. The trout pond was nasty--no fish, dead water, a row boat full of moldy water, a dock that wobbled, and a path that was overgrown from disuse. The breakfast was icky, and the grounds were worn out. The "resort" was probably really nice 75 years ago, but now this is just a seedy old motel. But a very expensive motel.
