Conveniently located near Beppu Station and Bus terminal. Friendly English- speaking staff. Only complaint is the wall is a bit thin. You can hear guests in the adjacent room talking.

No frills, a little outdated, but good location

But be mindful, it's an older building, bathrooms aren't really updated or kept clean, faucets are in the hallway. But really if you just a convenient spot to sleep, not bad if you can get a cheap price.

Conveniently located near the train station. Its very quiet at night, which is good if you want a good nights rest.
