Beautiful Le Coutal - Private Pool - Dordogne

We have a beautiful country house in a tranquil, peaceful valley in Berbiguieres, overlooking a walnut orchard. Yet we are only a few minutes drive from Beynac, Saint Cyprien, Belves and much more.

The house contains a fully equipped indoor and outdoor kitchen, furnished living room with dining area and views of the beautiful woodland and garden from every window.

The living area has direct access onto the terrace where you can sit, relax and enjoy the views and the peacefulness of the property.

Alternatively the 40” smart TV gives you access to the internet and films/French TV.

The ground floor also contains a toilet, a large hallway with seating and an additional outside kitchen just opposite the built in barbecue (a great room in which to enjoy breakfast in the early morning sunshine or for a shaded lunch when the mid-day sun gets hot).

Under the terrace you will find a laundry room with washing machine, sink and clothes airer.

The first floor has two bedrooms each with a king size bed. One of the rooms has a small en-suite shower room with full size shower and basin and views to the swimming pool and garden. Also there is a large landing with chairs and a selection of books, games and a bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet.

On the second floor there is a triple bedroom. Please note the second floor bedroom is accessed through one of the first floor king size bedrooms and contains a double bed and a single bed with views over the swimming pool and the woodland.

Egyptian cotton bed linen, bath towels, pool towels and tea towels are included. We have a complimentary travel cot and high chair available for our younger guests.

The house is traditionally built in Perigourdine style with stone and beams and is surrounded by a 5000m² garden where you will find many oak trees, beautiful flower borders and a large expanse of lawn. There are a couple of steep slopes within the garden due to it being on a hill where young children may need accompanying.

The swimming pool (8 metres by 4 metres) is open from the beginning of June to the end of September, with sun loungers and parasols for relaxation.

In the woodland area we have a hammock, ideal for an afternoon snooze.

There is plenty of parking available for at least 3 vehicles.
