The room was small but had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. The breakfast was excellent. It was just a few minutes walk to everything. Definitely recommend

Very central, nice clean rooms and good breakfast. Staff very helpful. However, rooms are small and cosy and no air con so was quite warm. Had to have all the windows open and there was a huge amount of noise from the street outside - make sure you bring earplugs if you want to sleep!

The hotel is lovely, great location in the middle if Bryggen, the team very friendly, nice breakfast. My room was very clean and the bed comfortable, but the size of a shoebox. I struggled to open my 2 suitcases and there was no space for clothes. I could not access the safe on floor level, inconvenient and with the suitcases taking up all floor space no room for me to manoeuvre. The only place to sit was on the bed.

Outstanding visit

This is a wonderful hotel in every respect. Charming, friendly and accommodating staff, comfortable and spacious room. The bed was very comfortable and we had the best sleep. All the usual amenities. Breakfast was lovely with a limited but great choice. The hotel is in a fabulous location, close to everything. Walk practically anywhere. Bergen is a gem and a must visit city. We highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay again. Congratulations to the owner, manager and staff.

Pros: location is fantastic to everything, breakfast is good, and staff is very nice, bus stop for the airport is across the street. Cons: next to a few bars, so it got loud at night. we stayed during the week, so i'd imagine the weekends is even louder. our room was tiny, but the shower was poorly constructed, so water got everywhere.

The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The location was ideal for exploring Bergen- just steps away from Bryggen, and convenient for public transportation. The breakfast was excellent and generous.

The room was very good. I am giving an average rating because: - the water kettle was not working, no one made an effort to replace it! - Breakfast was okish... i was expecting more options for the price. - the room was smaller than advertised. When i was booking the hotel, the room advertised did not portray the right picture. This was disappointing.

The room very small. They don’t offer any bottle water when you arrive they don’t even have water to buy The little refrigerator it was not working properly.The hair dryers was small and weak .They did offer any wash clothes or Q -tips or sleepers. The staff was pretty cold people. I will never stay there again.Definitely I don’t recoment this place for anyone. Very disappointed. Margaret Rita Foroulis.

Everything about our stay here was wonderful! Great location close to funicular and Bryggen wharf. Excellent breakfast Room lovely and bed very comfortable Staff was so pleasant and welcoming. I highly recommend this hotel.
