The hotel has very pleasant & quiet public spaces. the views from the tower are not to be missed. Also, the Flybussen express bus to the airport starts its route just outside the front door of the hotel. A taxi could hardly be more convenient. We had a very early flight and had to take the 4:15AM bus - the first of the day. It was right on time. Even better, since we missed breakfast at the hotel, they packed a nice breakfast for us that we picked up when we checked out at 4:00AM.

This place was amazing! Whatever my nightly rate was, it wasn’t enough! Great big breakfast spread in the morning, Fika late afternoon, then a “light dinner”. Don’t be fooled, the light dinner was a nice spread of breads, salads, a soup, and a main course! Everything was very delicious. The room was well appointed with everything we could think of, and we had a great view looking out into the harbor and Bryggen. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel and the front desk staff was incredibly awesome

Superb location, in Bryggen: exactly where you want to be in Bergen. The historic town is right around you and you can walk to the piers and the fish market. The airport shuttle starts from right outside the hotel, so that is an added convenience. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner were included, which is unusual. Breakfast was a generous spread. Dinner was simple but adequate. The bar in the lobby is open until late. (Note: no food available after 8:00 pm.) We expect to be back in Bergen soon, and don't need to shop for a hotel: we will definitely stay here again.

We are frequent travellers and my partner tells me that this is the best hotel she has ever stayed in. The food is excellent. Even the vegetarian dinner night. Breakfast are the best ever. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. The small fridge is a nice necessity. Location is excellent. Staff are efficient and friendly. The only suggestion is the lights in the room were a bit complicated and lacking in the bathroom. A tip to get the shower on is to pulll down on the tap spout. Make sure you have a drink in the lobby bar as it is amazing. Yes,we would stay here again.
