Very convenient to Bryggen and other places around the port, easy walk to funicular Floyen. Close to meeting places for tours. We could walk in 5-10 minutes. While the room we stayed in was nice it was SO dark. The bathroom was bright but the room itself, although there were lamps it was still hard to see. Also the duvets common in European hotels were very hot with no lighter covers in the room. We might have been able to get a fan but only thought of it when ready for bed. We adjusted the thermostat as low as we could. Weather was a bit warm for Bergen. Breakfast had many choices and we were glad it was included. Fare to the airport was happily arranged by hotel at a set rate which was around $55.

Complimentary breakfast was very good. Staff very helpful. Great location near the oldest part of Bergen and those museums and funicular. Bus stops near hotel; the city’s public transit app on phone is easy to use.

This is a great place to stay in Bergen. Safe, clean, decent sized rooms. It’s a great location in the UNESCO area. Breakfast was very good, although it can get super busy during prime time. The front staff were very accommodating.

Great stay just outside the heart of Bergen's Bryggen area, right next to the fortress. We had no view out the window, but the business category room was a good size and bathroom very large for Europe. We also appreciated having laundry available (washer and dryer) on site, for a fee, for hotel guests. The building has no air conditioning, which was an issue when we stayed due to the July heatwave, but the front desk let us borrow a small fan which at least provided a tiny bit of moving air in the room.

Great location.

Enjoyed my stay there. Easy walking distance to Fish market, shops and restaurants. Nice restaurant on the premises. No A/C and windows did not open. Nice outside but warm inside.

The position of this hotel is very close to bryggen(0.2miles) It is next to the Bergenhus Fortress. Also it is very close to the flybussen stop ( the bus to airport). The room is a little small but clean. Also, the clerks are very friendly.

Quiet, clean hotel a stone's throw from Bryggen

We stayed two nights at the Thon Hotel in Bergen and couldn't have been happier. Car parking (for a fee) was very convenient and check in was speedy. The room was large, very comfortable and clean. It backed onto what looked like an office block, so was very quiet. The buffet breakfast was incredible too, with lots of healthy options and treats. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if visiting Bergen!
