Room smelled a bit odd but we left the window open and it got better. Really loved staying here. Great proximity to the train station and loved being by the river. A bit of a walk to the nearest grocery store, but it was manageable. Quiet, clean, very friendly staff.

It was ok. I payed to stay and check out later but I could hear cleaners outside my room for the 3 hours I stayed longer. All I got was sorry. But really I should have been reimbursed. Why was 3 people outside my room who are staff talking and chatting when I said I was wanting a lie in. Would not stay again!

Exceptional staff

Starting with the (mainly) positives the staff were exceptionally helpful and probably the best I have interacted with for quite some time. The room is a decent size and the kitchen units useful if you want to store items etc. The hotel is very close to the local railway station (Ostkreuz) and over from the railway station you will find many local bars and restaurants. The hotel is modern and has that exposed concrete feel but beware the rooms facing the road that experience some noise. Double glazing keeps this under wraps but come the summer it could be intrusive if the need to open the windows is required. My one irritation was the fridge that used to go through some sort of cycle and would regularly generate a lot of noise. Being a light sleeper this was intrusive to say the least. You are forewarned.
