The rooms were very nice, the breakfast was outstanding. A bit far off the beaten path for our quick stay, but if you don’t mind being a little further out, it’s a great place.

Wonderful staff, clean hotel and great breakfast

My stay was amazing. I will definitely return to the same hotel, if I visit Berlin again. Very nice location, clean hotel and a very friendly staff that was making every effort to make their guest feeling happy and special.

Booked this hotel for 1 night stay. Service was exceptional. Our heavy bags were carried down (and later back up) the stairs - there is no lift. On arrival, we asked about a refrigerator and the porter immediately brought us a small fridge unit! Breakfast was fine, nothing fancy but adequate. Residenz Begaswinkel is a small, boutique 20 room hotel and we were surprised it was as quiet as it was. Its location is a little unusual - it is down a driveway and not very clearly signposted, however once located it was clear. The cul-de-sac it is in is very attractive - although local area is not all that picturesque. Walk to station takes about 7-10 minutes.

Good, but lacks many things.

Had a very lovely trip. The hotel is charming, clean and quiet. The neighborhood is safe and central. What I did not like is that nobody told us the hotel closes at night. We almost lost our booking because we arrived late. This is a big minus. Also parking is 8 euros per night, which is very expensive. Should actually be free.The WiFi is terrible. However the staff is nice and helpful and they speak perfect English.

Not sure what full rates are per night. I booked online via hello world. 3 nights totalled round AUD270. Great value. Room was very clean and bathroom modern and spotless. Bed was extremely comfortable..in my 7 weeks of travel was 1 of the best. Breakfast was very yummy and well presented. Very quiet location. 5-10 stroll to the Nollendorfplatz U-bahn...where you will find many eateries. Also not to far from the gay hub of Berlin. Staff were very helpful.

The receptionist was very helpful. It's located on a quiet street. You need to buzzed in to gain entry so bonus point for safety. The breakfast was decent. The only drawback is the location not central.

Great Small Hotel

It was a nice stay, the team was very helpful and friendly. A very nice big house use as a hotel, you feel like at home, very clean room, nice shower, pretty silence at night, you wake up listening to the birds, it was the perfect ending to my trip. Wifi in my room. I will stay again, not doubt about it

A great place to stay in Berlin

I recently stayed at this hotel to run the Berlin marathon. I highly recommend this hotel. It is a beautiful building with a lovely garden at the front. The receptionist was friendly and allowed me to check in quite early and leave a little late. The breakfast is excellent too hosted in a nice sunny and airy room with a deck If I ever go back to Berlin, I'll be staying at this hotel!

Close enough to the underground for Berlin centre

Clean hotel with good continental style breakfast and interesting central spiral staircase to roof located breakfast room. Located on the edge of the red light district so interesting kerb side scenes but no real offence or problems. Good value overall.

Beautiful hotel in a dodgy area

This is a beautiful hotel which seremos out of place where it is. This hotel is inside a block so it is not visible from the street. This is definetly a good thing as it is a hop skip and a jump away from the main street for working girls in Berlin. The room was beautiful with a memory foam mattres and pillow. The complementary breakfast was typical of a German breakfast, and quite good.

Litet charmigt hotell med bra läge

Charmigt hotell som överraskade stort när vi kom in på den lugna gården från den ganska stökiga gatan utanför. Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Bra frukost. Bra läge med gångavstånd till många sevärdheter. Varmt utan luftkonditionering, men så var det också några riktigt varma dagar.

Die Lage ist überraschend. Gelegen in einem der riesigen Hinterhöfe. Daher sehr ruhig. Zumindest am WE. Werktags werden hff bald die Bauarbeiten an den umliegenden Häusern erledigt sein. Sehr freundliches Personal. Frühstück alles das, was man braucht.
