No tea & coffee making facilities, disappointing. Did see hot water to right of reception as I was leaving. Ignore self service checkin, it wanted me to see a human after I missed my place in short checkin queue. Otherwise wonderful, a tv that worked (unusal) excellent room good size & great shower. Free bottled watet on arrival, fridge not very cold! Very convenient for Berlin Hbf station. Take exit to Europaplatz, look right you will see a large "glass box" building. To the right are 2 hotels, walk between them the hotel is on the left just behind hotel, (or take the long way using online directions). Quiet area seemed safe, breakfast was good & included hot option. Easy walk to attractive area across the river

Mixed bag

The hotel overall was nice and comfortable, and mostly clean. However, the carpets and the headboards of the beds were very stained and dirty. The towels were very thin and threadbare. The breakfast buffet was tasty and plentiful with a variety of foods including a full English breakfast, eggs, breads, pastries and cereal, fruit, yogurts, meats and cheeses. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, except for one woman on our last day. She was quite rude and demanding when we checked out. We were asked to pay the city tax when we checked in and gave our credit card, but when we checked out this woman was very gruff about how we hadn't paid and never left a credit card and demanded we produce an invoice showing we had paid. I don't know what went wrong when we checked in, but somehow the charge never went through, I guess, but it was in no way our fault yet she acted like we were trying to defraud the hotel or something and was very impatient with us as we tried to figure out if we had actually paid since we were asked to pay at check-in and we did give a credit card.

Excelente hotel, muito proximo da estação central, como estavamos em 4 pessoas, compramos o ticket 24horas para grupo de 5 pessoas no aeroporto, em 30 minutos estávamos no hotel, Dica: Use a linha flex que faz somente 3 paradas. O hotel tem um fantástico café da manha e um otimo quarto e chuveiro...tudo nota 1000

Room for improvement

A hotel with a nice location, next to the central station. The rooms are ok, but getting old. Towels should have been exchanged long time ago, simply worn out. From 4 nights, only one cleaning - not impressive. Hot food at breakfast is a little bit warmer than cold. So it's OK - three stars, but not more.

Great location, staff could be friendlier

The room was very clean and spacious, and the location was excellent...only a few blocks walk to the train station. The breakfast buffet was very good, with a nice selection...coffee was excellent. The only issue is the front desk staff could've been a little friendlier...I had ask for change to use the vending machine in THEIR hotel, but the staff seemed to be put off and unhappy by my request by saying he didn't want to "break" a bill as large as mine (50 Euro)...to be fair, it was a relatively large denomination, but are they not prepared for such a request??

Booked this hotel since it was near the Central Station..I think that was the advantage of this property. I also availed their breakfast which was lovely and with plenty of options everyday. My main concern was housekeeping was only if requested, no toiletries provided except for a small vanity pack with cotton buds and cotton pad. Also, the pillow was not like a pillow at all? It was flat. I had to request twice before I got another one. The bed was queen sized but the duvet was for very small. For the price of this hotel, I’ve expected better service. Some of the staff seemed unapproachable but the rest were friendly and accommodating.
