I was given a room wherein the aircon wasn’t working. I have 3 nights booking. I was too tired to inquire on my first night due to arriving late and thought that the ventilation was just turned off, I had to keep my window opened but the noise was unbearable due to proximity to a train station. There’s been fireworks too around midnight! Barely slept on my first night. On my second day I have to set off early and had to return in the hotel late afternoon, when I raised the issue, they said they couldn't send someone to fix the aircon, or find me a different room as the hotel was full booked. I had to endure the second warm night of my stay. This is on the eve of my marathon event where I should be resting properly. Also the weekend weather has been unprecedented at 28 & 27 degrees. Post marathon, again due to tiredness and coming back late from the city, not bothered to ask for a room replacement. Whole stay would had been pleasant but its the ventilation issue that brought the score down. Ideal location if you want to be near the airport but you need to travel at least an hour via good train service if you have events in the city.

If you needed a quick place to stay this is it good helpful staff, quiet room just like new hotel. As a tourist stepping off point very far from downtown Berlin. There's a train stop 5 minute walk convenient.

Es ist zwar etwas abgelegen, also eine halbe-dreiviertel stunde mit der Bahn, aber trotzdem perfekt zu erreichen. Wir waren zu viert, hatten zwei Zimmer und wir waren uns alle einig, dass wir noch nie in einem sauberen und komfortableren Hotel geschlafen haben, vor allem für den Preis. Also besser geht es nicht, wir haben direkt für den nächsten Berlin Trip gebucht.
