The room was lovely and clean. The hotel is in a good position to get to any where via the tram. I missed not having a bar area so we could chill out for a bit before venturing out in the evening.

Room was clean, well furnished, hotel was quiet and kitchen was well stocked for a short stay. Also right on M4 tram line and in a good location/neighborhood with many stores and places to eat nearby. Front desk was helpful and responsive.

Meh. I left after 4 days, even though my trip to Berlin continued. Maybe I booked when the rates were high but I felt as if I didn’t get enough for my money. The hotel is part of a typical old Berlin apartment building, renovated cheaply to become a no-frills hotel. The funky courtyard is indeed quiet but internal sounds are amplified due to a lack of carpeting and cheap doors. I had a very small, very clean, room with a comfortable bed and a decent shower. No refrigerator, no safe, and NO BLACKOUT CURTAINS. Bring an eye pillow. I didn’t do breakfast but if the undrinkable courtesy coffee is any indication, I chose well. High point is its proximity to the superb late-night Super Shawarma spot across the street.

Can’t say enough about the staff, especially Trostin. He was so helpful and friendly, great guy! The tram stop is just about immediately out the door that can take you to Alexanderplatz and at that point connect to other areas of the city and outwards. Very nice breakfast fresh fruit, cheese meats and amazing bread rolls. Can’t say enough about the friendly staff, the cleanliness of the rooms and the convenient area. Highly recommend Al Dente (Italian restaurant across the street) as well as the local Blue Label (typical German style food) within walking distance around the block. You’ve got to try the Blue Labels potatoes pancakes with salmon and their delicious schnitzel! Both establishments recommendations from Trostin. Great price, great staff, great breakfast!!

An enjoyable stay! Good value for the money. Very conveniently located, with good transport links. Local area has lots of nice bars and cafes. Breakfast was a generous size. Fan in the bathroom was really quite loud (but imagine that doesn’t affect every room!). Overall, I’d recommend it for the price.

Good location but breakfast poor value

Stay was good and location good to get into the city. Only downsides pillows in room were awful one provided per person and was more of a cushion than pillow. Breakfast also at 12 euro per person. was not good value. 4 thin slices of kiwi, orange and melon few slices of ham cheese and two boiled eggs. I would stay again but ask for additional pillows. Recommend the breakfast at the Bakery two doors away.

Great location!

Very good location right by tram stop and about a mile from Alexanderplatz. Comfortable room and very quiet as well away from road. Kettle in room plus free coffee from reception was a plus!

A lovely hotel well worth a visit

Lovely room, huge bed, and a kettle :) Set in a quiet court yard close to the tram stop so getting about is easy. The staff are welcoming, friendly & speaking in English and other languages happy to help us find our way to the Mercedes Arena for a concert. A continental breakfast each morning with freshly baked bread buns & will make gluten free for you if needed. Well worth stopping over.
