All staff made us feel very welcome and no question was too much trouble for them. Suggestions were also made to allow us to save money. Great location, a short walk from the main train station and only a few blocks from the old town area. We used the Bern Welcome ticket to take a tram from almost right outside the hotel to the Gurtenbahn and had a lovely lunch at the top and rode the Rodelbahn Had a lovely time in Bern and would stay here again.

Disappointing stay

Arrived at 10 to 4pm, checked in and was given an upgrade. Went to room and it was not ready. Bed being made, then room vacuumed. Very small room, suitcase had to be placed on the floor. Toilet squeezed in between wall and shower, not much room (both of us are average sized people). Could make coffee or tea but no milk available. This room was not an upgrade ! Next night was in an IBIS Hotel - we stayed in a better room !

The hotel was excellent. We had a family room with private bath. They included portable fans, which was really nice during a heat wave. Hotel was right next to a tram stop, so very easy to get around.

The Hotel was extremely well located. Staff was outstanding, rooms basic but very comfortable anr clean. A very good location, however keep in mind it is a very busy location and not ideal for quiet and peaceful sleep.

The hotel's central location is perfect for sightseeing, putting Bern's main attractions within easy walking distance. Fantastic location near the ttain station, the Old Town, and public transit, with some great restaurants nearby as well. The rooms and beds are very comfortable and cozy, excellent continental breakfast buffet, and staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
