Did not like there was no air conditioning and bathroom fixtures were not sturdy. The door was also difficult to open. Also very difficult with no elevator especially if you have suitcases.

A pleasant overnight stay in Bernau bei Berlin
Posted Apr. 27, 2022 on HotelsA great little hotel that is perfect for a stop-off if you're travelling through Germany or visiting Bernau bei Berlin. Although the hotel looks like it hasn't been updated since the 80s, the rooms are clean and comfortable with plenty of space. The breakfast buffet is lovely with plenty of options on offer. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating. Additionally, there is an Aldi next door, which is very handy if you need to pick up any additional items for your trip. My only criticism would be the pillows, which were far too soft for my liking, but that's just my personal preference.

Although near train station (about 15 minutes walk), but quite far from the city.

Clean and friendly hotel in Bernau
Posted Sep. 1, 2011 on ExpediaThis is not a fancy hotel, but Bernau isn't a fancy town, and unless you have specific business there, probably not much of a reason for a tourist to be there anyway. That said, I do have to go there every few months, and this is always a very clean and comfortable hotel, and the staff is always very friendly. An adequate breakfast and hi-speed internet are included in the rate. The location is a bit remote, 1 km or so from the center of town where there are a couple decent restaurants.
