The Cottage is the perfect location for you to relive those holidays of your past, start a new beach holiday tradition, or just pop in for a home away from home experience for a few days.

Wake up to the sound of the ocean in this funky 2 bedroom 1950's cottage, situated on the property where we live & is within metres of beautiful Kirby's Beach in Berrara. This convenient location caters to every level of activity; from lazing with a good book to swimming, surfing or snorkelling at the beach opposite. There are also many other local gems to explore; Berrara Lagoon is a short stroll away, take a leisurely 15 min walk to Swan Lake, or grab your bike or car and explore the many bush tracks in the local surrounds.

The Cottage can comfortably accommodate two adults & three children or two couples. The main bedroom holds one double size bed and the second bedroom holds a tri bunk bed (double bed with a single bunk on top). There is a new compact kitchen containing a fridge, microwave & 2 burner ceramic cooktop . The bathroom has had a beaut renovation that's in keeping with the retro feel & contains a shower and inside toilet. The external laundry also has an internal shower. Shared Gas BBQ facilities are also available & there is one designated car parking spot.

Unfortunately there is no perimeter fencing (we enjoy the kangaroos passing through too much) so dogs are not permitted

Location

Berrara is a pleasant 2.5 hour drive from Sydney and a similar drive from Canberra. Whether its surfing, fishing, waterskiing, kayaking, snorkelling mountain biking, bush walking or whale & dolphin watching, this beautiful area has it all.
Not only does Berrara boast three beautiful beaches, that is, Kirby's beach, Cudmirrah beach & Berrara beach but we also have the lovely Swan Lake, ideal for waterskiing, swimming & sailing.

Shops & Facilities

There is a Cafe/General store at Cudmirrah on Swan Lake where you can enjoy great meals & coffee or pick up a few basic supplies for your stay.

Sussex Inlet is the closest town and is only seven minutes away by car. Sussex Inlet is the home of the 'Ocean & Earth' factory outlet so you can grab a bargain as well. You can enjoy the RSL Club & its dining facilities or the Bowling Club Restaurant in Sussex Inlet. We have a Thai Restaurant, 'the Silver Spoon' as well. There is also a Fish & Chip shop, a Pizza place and a few Cafes one of which includes a gelato bar. For your serious grocery shop, Spar is located in the town.

If you want to venture further south, the beautiful townships of Milton & Ulladulla are 20-30 minutes away on the highway. If you prefer going north, Jervis Bay, renowned for scuba diving & whale watching & Nowra, with its regional services are only 30 minutes away.
