Great night’s sleep

Room and bed were huge and very quiet so good night’s sleep. The hotel and furnishings are lovely and well maintained and check in was quick and easy. Breakfast was unfortunately a let down though but it might have been because they had a wedding party in too however the fried eggs were rubbery and they ran out of white bread and pastries which was disappointing. Also, only decaf coffee was instant in a sachet which was also disappointing. So if you want a lovely bed and a great sleep this is a fab hotel but I would probably recommend somewhere else for breakfast based on our experience.

A top class hotel Excellent room dinner and breakfast Above all the staff in every way were professional helpful and very human in a respectful yet very friendly way nothing was too much trouble My wife and I loved the carred for gardens and grounds and restful dinning and seating areas Well done we intend to return very soon.

Hi, this was not a cheap hotel and the welcome was poor, the service in the bar and restaurant was disappointing, the room was very small and hot, the bed was uncomfortable, generally speaking a very uninspiring overnight stay.

Avoid at all costs

Extremely disappointing stay. The room was around 40°C when we arrived—no air con, windows shut all day, and the tiny fan did nothing. When we asked the front desk for help, we were told “heat rises.” To make things worse, loud wedding music played until midnight. There’s no mention of this on the website, and staff weren’t helpful when we raised it. Wouldn’t stay here again—uncomfortable, noisy, and poor service.
