The main house of On the Rocks accommodates four guests and offers two lovely bedrooms—one with a queen bed and the other with two king single beds. Guests can indulge in the spacious and bright bathroom, equipped with a shower and a deep bathtub, providing the ideal retreat to unwind after exploring Bicheno.

For larger groups or families of six, On the Rocks offers a beautiful new retreat with a separate entry to the main house. This retreat features an additional bedroom with an indulgent king bed, a modern ensuite with shower, and a flatscreen TV – providing guests with their private getaway for absolute bliss.

The spacious, sun-drenched, open-plan living area comprises a large living room and dining room, with the kitchen serving as the starting point for capturing breathtaking scenarios.

Guests will appreciate the home comforts provided by the modern kitchen and split system air-conditioning, ensuring relaxation during Bicheno’s winters and mild summers. Relax and soak in the sun from the family-sized deck and large backyard, all while enjoying ocean views right from where you stand. Nice open plan house with bath

Nice place to stay for a few nights. Close to town- walking distance- and lovely quiet neighborhood. Tranquil setting in back yard overlooking the ocean. Lovely bath that we used several times.

Lovely location

I would really like to give this property 5 stars. The location is lovely — nice ocean views, very close to small beach, whisper quiet. Generous amenities are provided, the beds are comfortable and it was spotlessly clean. However, it was impossible to get fresh air into the house. The back door has no flyscreen. The screen on the front door has a huge gap, making it ineffective. Three tiny windows in the living room have screens and can be opened. All other windows, including in the bedrooms, are either painted shut or have no screens. For a beach holiday in summer, this was a major discomfort. For a winter holiday, it would be a delightful place to stay.

Great location - nice beach house

200m walk to the Bicheno blow hole. 1km walk to penguins at the marina. Beach house perfect for family of four travelling through Tassie. House has Washer/dryer and also Weber BBQ. Beach access directly from back yard. Nice open plan room with big tv and comfy chairs/couches. We stayed in September 2022.

Nice Stay in Biceno

Nice little stay in Bicheno at this renovated beach house. It has lovely views over to the beach from the kitchen, lounge and bakc deck. Also a short walk into town and to the blow hole. The beds were comfy and shower/bath very good. The only gripe was the ant situation - you can't leave food out or crumbs anywhere without ants coming to find them. A great stay!

Close to the beach

Beautiful space, would be great for a week away with kids or even longer. Short walk to the blowhole or around to the main town. Lovely relaxing view of the sea from the main living areas.

Perfect weekend away

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house was beautiful, clean and in a great location. The beds were very comfortable and we had a lovely weekend relaxing here. We loved finding the walkway to the beach and it was a highlight to spend time at the beach so close by. Communication with the host was excellent

A wonderful stay

Loved my stay here, very cosy cottage, great location and unsurpassable view. My only concern was difficulty in airing the property, as it was pretty musty when I arrived. Also lack of exhaust fans in kitchen and bathroom could be an issue.
