Great place

The stay at this apartment was very nice. Meeting Jose was helpful with information and the location is in old town which is also nice and charming. All the amenities were there and Jose shared with us all the places to go and being a great host. Everything was explained and he was nice. Location is ideal - everything in walking distance!

Great apartment.

The apartment in old town Bilbao was really great; the location and the space itself. The host, Jose, was great too. I arrived early yet he allowed me to leave my suitcase there while I explored the neighborhood and the apartment cleaning was finishing up. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean and convenient!

Apartment was very clean, lots of things to do within walking distance. Jose was super accommodating and helpful. Parking is 10€ per day if you have a vehicle but public transportation (subway station) is very close. I would love to come back to Bilbao and would rent this apartment again.

The apartment is in a perfect location in the old part of the city, with plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, and grocery stores a few steps away. Also very close are the metro, tram and bus lines. It is a very spacious flat, with two bedrooms and three beds, a family room with TV, a kitchen and dining table, and a bathroom with plenty of hot water. This was also a very well-supplied apartment, with most everything you might need in the kitchen and bath. It was so nice to have coffee, tea, and milk already there to start our mornings. There were even some items like oil and condiments to use in cooking. Jose was just the best host, waiting to greet us at the front of the building with the keys when we arrived and coming to our rescue when I accidentally left my backpack in the apartment and needed Jose to come and open the doors so I could retrieve it. Do not hesitate to book this place if it is available.

Centrally located in old town. Apartment was clean and functional. Jose was very helpful and bought new pillows and changed the bed sheets again after our first night but the smell was still strong. We decided to cut short our stay and he refunded us the money for the last couple of nights.

We had such a lovely stay here and would happily come back. The location is absolutely spot on — right near the market and surrounded by a lively bar area, so there’s always a great atmosphere without it feeling overwhelming. Everything we wanted to explore was within easy reach.The apartment itself is more traditional than modern, but that’s exactly what gives it its charm. It felt homely, full of character, and a refreshing change from the usual cookie-cutter places. You can tell it has a story behind it.A real highlight was meeting the owner’s father, who showed us around when we arrived. He was so welcoming and took the time to explain everything properly. He even mentioned that the place can get a bit cold and thoughtfully pointed out where all the heating devices were in each area, which we really appreciated. It made us feel well looked after from the start.Overall, a warm, characterful place in a fantastic location with genuinely kind hosts. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it to others.

Convenient apt with most gracious host

The apartment is as described. Very clean. Well appointed oasis in the city. Quite an assortment of food items (teas, coffees, mustards) available too. The best part of this rental is the host, Jose. Such a kind, accommodating person. We needed to leave early in the morning to catch a flight and he met us .... at 6 am! ... to help us. We gave the location only 4 stars because the apt is a bit of a distance (0.3-0.4 miles on cobblestones) from the parking garage. Fine for us but thinking that for some people, that could be a challenge.

Au coeur du vieux Bilbao

Appartement dont l'emplacement est idéal pour visiter Bilbao. Situé dans le vieux quartier aux ruelles typiques, regorgeant de bars où se régaler de pintxos divers et variés. On peut le parcourir à pied sans souci puisque tout est piéton. Si l'on a une voiture, pas de problème, le propriétaire propose un parking! Pour aller plus loin et visiter le Guggenheim par exemple, pas de panique, la station de tram est juste à côté et dessert tous les lieux à voir. L'appartement est parfaitement propre et dispose de tout le nécessaire pour un séjour facile et agréable. Jose est très gentil et très serviable, nous le remercions pour son accueil!

José est un excellent hôte, l'appartement est idéalement situé dans la vieille ville de Bilbao et d'une propreté irréprochable . Le parking proposé par José est 1 plus, pas besoin de son vehicule pour visiter la ville, tous les transports métro, tram, bus sont à quelques minutes à pieds de l'appartement, location parfaite et merci à José pour sa disponibilité.

L appartement est très bien situé dans la vieille ville de Bilbao. Il est proche du centre ville et tous les commerces sont à proximité dont le marché La Ribera. Nice apartment in the city center. Very friendly and caring owner. In the kitchen we finded a lot of products for breakfast as a compliment from the owner of the apartment. Très bon emplacement de l'appartement, dans la vieille ville de Bilbao (et sur la ligne de tram qui dépose au Guggenheim) Nous avons pu tout faire à pieds en famille avec 2 enfants de 7 et 10ans. Le propriétaire est très sympa et à votre service. Un parking à proximité nous a été conseillé pour laisser le temps du week-end notre voiture en sécurité.
