Other than the lady at the first check in desk being completely unfriendly and annoyed that my husband couldn't hear what she was saying because he lost most of his hearing in the Vietnam War and she didn't bother to try to tell us anything, like how to use our key for the elevators and that there was no house keeping so we had to ask for towels and rags, the other customers had to tell us what to do, but the hotel was very nice overall!!! If we go back we will make sure we don't go to that lady's line!!!

We enjoyed our VERY brief stay at IP for a wedding in Southern Mississippi. We are from New Orleans so we knew the area a bit. The hotel was incredibly easy to navigate too. Signs are a little confusing on parking but nothing a u-turn wouldn't fix. I called asking for an early checkin so we could get ready for the wedding. Called and talked to a person immedately and they were happy to accommodate. When we arrived we self parked (after the confusion). Check in itself was through the kiosk which was easy. Room was impeccably clean and nearly new. View of the water was great. The lobby area smelled vaguely of smoke but I couldn't tell if they actively allow smoking any more or if simply lingered from "the old days". Room and our floow (21) had no hint of smoke at all. When we left the next morning at about 9:30 am apparently the rest of the guests had the same idea because we were not able to get an elevator down. They either skipped us entirely or were full. So we walked down 21 flights with our luggage. Not mad but just something to be aware of if you have mobility issues. No experience with other ammenities unfortunately but would stay again if we are in the area.

Some of the property was newly renovated and in great condition but they need to focus on the elevator issues. On my last visit there was 1 of 3 elevators not working and the same issue this stay, it makes for long waits for an elevator, very annoying and disappointing.

One elevator was out and it left 2 elevators for the whole upper tower. We waited 20+ minutes to catch one and almost missed our dinner reservation. The room was clean and met our needs. The $15 free play was nice but there was no room upgrade available for gold members. The smell of the hotel was bothersome.

Rooms were really clean. Spa was fantastic and the food at the restaurant was so good!! Highly recommend. Great security for the cars on the level for Crusin the Coast cars.
