Ask for breakfast choice !!
Was handy for location , bit unhappy when paying for breakfast there are choices on there . Didn’t get asked and had to have what was served ( fried egg.. I asked for poached eggs )
The staff were very nice on check in and check out. The waiter looking after breakfast could have been a bit more attentive as the orange and apple juices ran out and there was no butter or plates by the toaster. But everything was tasty when it arrived nice and fresh.
All very basic, but perfectly acceptable. A room with a desk, but no chair. Only 2 coat hangers and nowhere to hang towels to dry. But car parking on site and a convenient location for much of Birmingham,

Lovely room but unfortunately heard another guest snorring all night. The view was awful though. A really old dilapidated building with dirty nappies and old socks on the roof. Lovely staff

Good pts:. 2 nts for £145 inc breakfast.
Reception staff very helpful, polite.
Location near edgbaston, supermarkets and chocolate world.
Acceptable: parking, room size, shower.
Poor. Service at breakfast. Unresponsive. Make sure you go to them!
Quality and quantity of breakfast decent but for cooked only one banger, bacon, egg etc given. Want more pay up. 4 Cereals no muesli, alpen or porridge. coffee cool and slow.
Room noisy, bed not great and bathroom door didnt close. Taps basic and broke. Decor needs updating.
Lovely & clean, bed was comfy. Plenty of parking & staff helpful.
Would use again if I need a place to stay in the area.

The room was basic but clean, however I was disappointed, there wasn't a hair dryer and the room above the bathroom started to leak into the bathroom of the room I was staying in, which wasn't good as the bathroom floor was covered in water. I had to put some towels down and put the bin under the leak.
The staff were friendly enough however I think they could be more professional as they where using there phones whilst customers in the bar and restaurant.
I had steak on the evening which was very nice however the cooked breakfast the next morning wasn't great.
Probably would stay again as the price was very reasonable.
Only stayed one night and didn't get there till late but had a lovely and friendly welcome. Had a few drinks in the bar and ordered pizza for dinner which they brought to our room on delivery.
Sat on the bed and thought omg my back is going to kill but actually wasn't too bad. Soft and lumpy and felt the springs when sitting but laying down wasn't as uncomfortable. Room nice and big but bathroom smelt a bit of drains but not bad enough to cause an issue. Heater brilliant and warmed the room up in minutes. Lovely pub with different styles of seating and we sat in the library and just chilled. Will definitely be back when we ff to the NEC
