There was a storm on the evening I arrived. The car park was flooded and the hotel card payment system was down.
In addition the ceiling in the dining area developed a leak
The staff worked very hard and diligently to battle on tegardless

The room was clean, staff were extremely friendly, there is ample parking on site and the breakfast was good. The hotel itself could do with a revamp as it is a little dated, however if you are in Birmingham for 1 or 2 nights it is a good option and easy to get to the city centre.
It was really noisy in the courtyard in the early hours of the morning. People chatting and the concierge didn't ask them to be quiet. Very poor night's sleep.
Clean room, staff friendly on arrival. Only issue toilet paper was placed behind your back, very silly place. Having a drink on the night in pub, music too loud, i asked the DJ to turn it down a bit, but still too loud, i couldnt hear alot of my companies conversation because of the noise.
The breakfast as a bit chaotic as it was set up for a buffet. But no food was there so we sat around for a bit before we realised we had to go and order from the bar.
The room was nice and warm. And the facilities were very good. Check in was simple and efficient
Great stay at the Inn in a quiet room. The location was perfect for us as it is just down the road from Cadbury World. Food was amazing and staff really friendly. Would definitely stay again.
Lovely pub/hotel even though we was only there for two nights. Room was basic but very clean and excellent value for money. Had one breakfast there and one evening meal, both were very nice. Would def stay there again
Perfect room, utensils and service. Also a lovely breakfast. Would happily go again.

The hotel although basic is clean.
The real let down were the staff and breakfast.
Check in was done by a member of staff who helped, but said it was not his normal job. This was fine as it was only check in.
The main issue was breakfast. It was our first time at this hotel and we waited several minutes for a member of staff to arrive and check us in.
We ordered our full breakfast which was cooked fresh and was good, but there was literally nothing else. Tables were not cleared or clean. We had to ask for juices and glasses. We also had to ask for tea which never turned up. I had to help myself to cutlery.
There was a small bowl of weetabix packets but no other choice and no milk. Very little bread and only a banana skin in the fruit bowl. The staff were reluctant to help and only refilled juices etc when asked.
A very disappointing breakfast.
Check out was done by asking if we were checking out and taking our keys in the middle of 2 members of staff chatting about their ailments.
Management please check in with your staff as there is a definite problem.
The bed was extremely soft and the springs were uncomfortable, which caused me severe back pain. I wasn’t able to walk properly for three days because of it. I informed the hotel, but even though the website showed available rooms, they told me there were no rooms available and refused to change my room.

The hotel was convenient and staff friendly. Unfortunately, the mattress we had was terrible. Very worn and this; we could feel every spring. There was also a spider hiding in the bed when i pulled the duvet down
