This is our 2nd time staying at the Vagabond Inn. The property is clean and well maintained. We were on the 2nd floor this time, but it wasn't too bad of a climb. The room passed my "nose" test. We appreciated the iron in the room, since two weeks on the road makes for wrinkly clothes. The bed was comfy. The breakfast didn't look like much, but we grabbed a delicious breakfast sandwich at Schat's Bakery across and down the street. My only other complaint was the huge pillows that don't squish down, which led to a neck ache. I had to use a down vest as a pillow. But all in all, we'd recommend a stay here if you're ever in Bishop.

I chose this hotel over similarly rated accommodations due to the breakfast availability. That was a joke. Sponge toaster waffles, yogurt and old bananas. Wouldn’t eat any of it. The hotel was very average. Room was clean. Bed was hard. 3 half pillows??? Thanks but I’ll try somewhere else next time.

Staff was very nice. Very pet friendly property. Decent breakfast. Multiple options nearby for meals , groceries or other needs. A beautiful city park within walking distance. The only downside is that the rooms are quite small.

The rooms were small and the air conditioner was making a lot of noise and you can hear the people upstairs walking around and the debris around the facility needed to be cleaned a little bit but all in all I felt safe and things were walkable around the property. He had a good breakfast and a friendly staff.
