The Space:

Grey Eagle Lodge is perfect for church, school, corporate, and family retreats! Nestled within the Camp Rockmont grounds, this bunkhouse-style lodge sleeps up to 33 people and features a beautiful great room/kitchen gathering space with a stone fireplace and plenty of seating. There are two large bunkrooms on either side of the great room, each with 14 bunk beds and a large bathroom. Bed linens, towels and pillows are provided. Upstairs is a private room with a queen bed and bath, and an adjoining single bedroom which shares the bathroom, along with two large game rooms (which may be converted to meeting spaces upon request). Recreational and team-building experiences and activities, audiovisual equipment, and catered meals are also available for Grey Eagle Lodge guests through Camp Rockmont. Many visitors combine the rental of Grey Eagle Lodge with other lodges and cabins on the campgrounds for gatherings of up to 600 people. The town of Black Mountain offers a variety of great local shops, live music, and dining options just five miles from home. Asheville is just 15 miles away. At Grey Eagle Lodge, take in the surrounding property views while relaxing around the outdoor firepit or in one of two game rooms upstairs. The game rooms feature Ping-Pong, foosball, darts, and checkers! If you're up for a mountain hike, a round of disc golf, a game of pickleball, tennis, or basketball, or even fishing in one of our lakes - all are available for additional fees through Camp Rockmont. Let us help you plan your retreat! The great room welcomes more casual downtime and small-group meeting space, with plenty of seating, a smart TV, a projector screen, and table games. A HDMI projector is available with advance notice. The stainless steel kitchen comes well-appointed for handling family-style meal prep for 30+ people with ease. Central heat, free WiFi, and a private washer/dryer round out the modern home essentials. Firewood is provided.
