Where to begin had to park the car at another hotel and walk back to our hotel , got in room bed had been slept in and big puddle of water in bathroom, got new room which hadn’t been hoovered there were bits all over hair bobble you couldn’t miss it , room was freezing radiator on full but only lukewarm and staff miserable

Upon arriving, the doors were locked (for security reasons), but there was nobody at the reception to let us in. Thankfully, another guest did. Once we approached the desk, we were greeted very shortly and checked in. The room we got, looked like it was prepared prior to our arrival, but the bedsheets weren’t changed. We found lots of hair, sweat stains, and even boogers. We went back down to the reception to explain the situation, and the nice receptionist apologised and sorted us out with a different, bigger room, no questions asked. The 2nd room we were given was in a much better condition, however, it was pretty dusty. I’d chuck a pillow onto the bed and the dust went visibly flying everywhere. The customer-facing staff were really nice and helpful, but the cleaning staff did a very poor job. We value cleanliness. We were given 2 different rooms, and weren’t overly impressed with either of them. It makes us question how thoroughly/often everything else is cleaned (toilets, floors, cups, cutlery, plates, etc.).

Heating only on at certain times of the day and when I arrived the room was freezing and was told it would come on at 5pm (I arrived at 3pm) and had to go out to stay warm!

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The duvet felt weighted so my slepp was marvellous possibly aided with cider consumed! Personally i didnt like my breakfast sausage but in no way would we complain. We got above and beyond what we paid for. Thank you

The room was ok and the hotel is nice and clean.the only problem I had was the heating is on a timer in the rooms so it was very cold in the hotel room but the reception area was nice and warm.9th to 11th of January it was very cold out side.the timer on the heating should be adjusted to when it's extremely cold out side the rooms in the hotel are warm and am not saying this to be rude because I do like the hotel

+ Check in and out was easy and the key card was convenient. Breakfast was well organised. Room was a good size. I was only there for one night so I can't comment in depth on facilities. _ The bathroom had no soap, shower gel ,shampoo or bathmat Heating was not on in the morning before breakfast.

Clean and comfortable room. Very comfortable beds. Quick check-in. Helpful staff. Reasonably priced for parking. One bar of soap in the bathroom, no other shower gel or shampoo.

Staff were friendly and courteous but the room was not very clean, very dusty and stale sweets and biscuits left on the floor at the side of the bed. No towels in the room had tol ask at reception for towels. Cups in the room were dirty like they’d been used and not washed properly. Beds were clean which was the main thing. Very dated room furniture, with broken drawer. Carpet looked grubby with stains on it. Breakfast was fine. Overall 2 day and night stay was ok but, won’t stay there again.

If I'm honest there was nothing to note of our stay . The hotel is basic however we knew this before going so didn't have any real expectations. Value wise you can't really beat it for what we paid for two nights . Though very basic it sufficed our needs a base to get our heads down at night A good hearty breakfast next morning and very centrally located for why we were there .
