I have stayed at City Lodge Bloemfontein before, and each time I have found it to be a pleasant place, very conveniently situated for my purposes. I observed that the room telephones have been removed since my last visit, and now there was no information in my room - instead one is referred to an app. I think that is not a good idea - it is as if they are skimping on extras to save a little money. The hotel is very clean and the staff are friendly and efficient. It was good to find that the evening menu has been expanded. Previously there were about six choices in total as 'bar snacks' - now they call it a 'restaurant' and a more comprehensive menu is offered. Service in the evening has improved also. The result was that I ate in each night I was there, instead of getting meals elsewhere.

City Lodge Bloemfontein
Posted Nov. 20, 2023 on HotelsOverall it was a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. The room was clean and quite spacious. The hotel is nicely situated giving you access to the Loch Logan complex and the industrial areas as well.
