A Diamond Property, Vacation Rentals "a cut above"

Leave the car parked and stroll just steps to charming Main Street - boutiques, dining, breweries, art galleries, and seasonal festivals are all right outside your door.

Guests consistently rave about the unbeatable walkability, spotless accommodations, and cozy mountain charm. You get the best of both worlds - peaceful mountain retreat vibes with downtown convenience. Whether you're visiting for fall foliage, summer hiking, golfing, girls weekend, a winter ski weekend, or a romantic mountain getaway, this beautifully maintained 2-bedroom retreat with outdoor fireplace and seating area offers comfort, convenience, and charm.

There is a lower unit, "Bull" and this upper unit, "Bear". Book them both an bring family or friends to share a unforgettable getaway. Bear, the upper unit, has 2 Bedrooms and two en Suite baths. The master has a king bed, the second bedroom has a "twin over queen" bunk bed. Each unit is equipped with WiFi, a washer dryer, fully equipped kitchen, dinette, cozy living area with fireplace.

There is parking in front of the patio but if all spaces are taken, the overflow is at the school at the end of the block.

After a day exploring the Blue Ridge Mountains, relax by the outdoor seating area that has a gas grill, plenty of seating, "dancing" ceiling fans, and a large gas fireplace.

We have stayed at Bear and the unit below named Bull several times over the past 5 years. We love the location, 1/2 block off the little village main street but super quiet. Private designated parking onsite. Close to everything and only 5 - 8 minutes to other great locations like App Ski, Doc Rocks Museum and Play center (must visit- little gem), outlet mall, and Tweetsie Railroad theme park. This unit is pet-friendly. It is an upper unit, so there are stairs every time your little darling needs to go out. There is a park at the top of the street and another at the bottom. This unit is very spacious for 2 - 6 adults or so to hang out. Everything is well-appointed. Washer and dryer included. Beds are comfortable. Bathrooms are newer and spacious. Also, great closet space and bedroom dressers to put everything in its place during your stay. Additionally, nice fireplaces in the unit and on the patio. Finally, the owner is exceptional.

Great location, all the amenities needed for our 4 night stay, loved we had our own designated parking and I personally enjoyed the fireplace. Water pressure in the showers was lacking a bit, but not something that would prevent us from renting again.

Parking was horrific. There are no reserved spots for the verbo, if the two spots are taken , which was our case, you have to park way down the road at the school. Also very steep stairs to get to the unit which we did not know about and we are both 71 . Place was immaculate and the king bed was very comfortable!

This review is sadly too long incoming. We rented this condo during the hurricane last year. The hurricane hit on our second day there. The owner could not have been more gracious and kind. The condo was clean and everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Overall great stay, thin walls between units

The location of this property is unmatched. The check-in process was seamless & the unit was very clean and tidy. Only note of caution I would add for other guests is that the walls are pretty thin between this unit & the one downstairs.

Diamond Properties Does It Again

This was our second stay using a Diamond Property in Blowing Rock. The location was excellent, the dwelling was perfect for a family of 4. Clean, well equipped and communicating with Karen was fantastic.

Consistent Quality Experience

My family and I have stayed multiple times in the Bear and Bull units. Both are well kept and have the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The location of the units is unbeatable for convenience to anything in downtown Blowing Rock. It is very nice to be able to walk to restaurants and other attractions, as during busy times, parking can be difficult to obtain around town.

Clean and Convenient

Very close to all things in downtown Blowing Rock. 300 feet from Bald Guy Brewing for great coffee. Having dedicated parking was nice as well, we never had an issue finding a spot. Unit was spotless when we arrived. All appliances and HVAC worked with no issues. The beds are comfortable with plenty of blankets to stay warm.One item to be ready for if you have a fall or winter rental - the checkout instructions have the outgoing tenant drop the thermostat to 54*. So be ready for it to be chilly when you first arrive!

Karen is amazing!!

The property was walking distance to everything downtown. Quick drive to Appalachian Mountain for some snow boarding. Less than an hour drive to hikes with magnificent views of Linville Gorge, Tablerock Mtn, Hawksbill Mtn. The accomodations are top notch. Karen has created a book with all the reference material and menus you'll need. High quality furnishing and creativity abound. Don't miss the outdoor fireplace after walking back from dinner! This stay is simply a win!
