This property was perfect for my husband and I for a quick weekend away!
Everything was within walking distance and easy to get to!
My only complaint was the water in the shower never really got hot! Warm at best..

Hot water and elevator not working ; pool is always too cool to swim in; loud neighbors or thin walls

Only bad mark was that the single elevator was out of service. Had to use the stairs .

Great staff, location, and breakfast!
Posted Mar. 10, 2024 on HotelsThe staff was super nice & had cookies upon arrival - yay! Room was really spacious and clean and updated. Loved it - comfy & cozy! And a short, easy walk downtown.
And breakfast was delicious- we didn’t even realize they offered breakfast and were wowed - eggs, sausage, biscuits, grits - yummy southern classics - plus lots of other things. Something for everyone. I’d definitely stay here again!

Nice place to stay

New flooring and new Koler tub. Flat screen TV with DirectTV.
Breakfast typical breakfast buffet.
Right in the middle of all the Blowing Rock restaurants.
Cookies in the afternoon were great.

Rooms need to be updated. The furniture is old-HVAC needs updating! Building needs A LOT of work! Our reservations were for 4 nights. On our last day we requested to add another night but was told there was a 2-night minimum - we waited over 24 hours before they agreed to book us another night. The staff was not helpful! Each time we would check at the front desk we were told a different reason why we couldn't book another night. Told us the manager had to lift the 2-night minimum. The manager (Allison) was non-existence! Spoke with Allison after our stay about a charge on our cc - she was rude and said we would have to call our bank. Christine at the front desk was somewhat helpful - but it was comical that she gave us different reasons why we couldn't book another night! Dillon, Justin, Christine and two other front desk staff gave us different answer when inquired about our request to stay another night. The HOTEL was FAR from being full!!!! In the past this was one of our favorite places to stay - likely to be our last time staying at Meadowbrook!
